Every now and then I wax philosophical about this whole PUA stuff. What I mean
is - why do we feel the need to constantly be on the make? Something from our
childhood? Not enough attention from our mothers? Slight misogyny? Or are we
born with it in our genes?
You have to admit that true, natural PUAs are relatively rare. Thats why they
are so fascinating to both guys and girls. Maybe 1% of the male population or
something. Most on this forum are in that percentile, while others on this
forum are very desirous of learning the techniques.
I think we must be born with it. After all, no matter how much an AFC admires a
PUA and wishes he could be like that as well, we are a breed apart. Most guys
do not have the intestinal fortitude or emotional makeup to become a player.
And quite frankly, there are a very large percentage of guys who, contrary to
the laws of evolution, have no interest in anything but a monogamous
relationship. Do you ever wonder what separates us from them? Chemical
differences? I dunno.
Ive been doing this for probably a lot longer than you guys (Im now 38), but
I cannot remember a time since I was in 1st grade that I didnt constantly
chase girls. I have always adored them.
In fact, just for context (and since this is anonymous), here is a bit about
me. As I said I am 38. I have a 14 year old daughter (I got a girl pregnant
when I was 24). She lives with her mom but stays over at my house 3 - 4 days
per week (limiting my social nights somewhat, but I love her, so fuck my social
life).
I have always been a player. Until just recently when I discovered this site, I
didnt know any of the terminology or techniques. I just did my own thing,

got married (crowd shudders and faints). Anyway, we were together 8.5 years. We
split up in January of this year, and that is why I am now participating on
this forum.

Just so you dont think I was too smitten by oneitis - when I started dating

Guys, how do you answer the question "So, what do you do?"
Whenever I am asked this, I always lean really close to the HBs ear and
quietly say "I give women pleasure". I say it as if it is a secret just for her
and I dont want anyone else to hear.
I have done this to salesclerks, waitresses, bar chicks, whatever. Any female
that asks me that question, in any location, from 17 to 60 - even warpigs (my

In a very general sense, you are correct. However, when it comes to dealing
with women, you have to include in your hypothesis the notion of chaos theory

Generally, the techniques of ASF will work within a range of statistical
probability. If one could gather a sample of the data, an elegant bell curve
would most likely manifest itself.
This works on the macro level. However, on a micro level (in other words, a

The thing is, what women say they want and what they really want is completely
different. Women dont even realize this themselves until you point it out to

Yeah me too. I used to use it in my sig all the time on other newsgroups I
participated in. Probably nobody understood it like you guys on this forum do,
though.
For me it encapsulates the whole essence of what we (who have been

There was only once that I couldnt get it up. About 10 years ago (I am 38), I
was screwing this chick. She was pretty and everything, but for some reason,
she just wasnt doing it for me. I had nailed her once or twice before just
fine.

Yeah juggler, ditto. My problem is that I only seem to go after the 21 year
olds - way younger than me. Fortunately, I only look 25, and when the girls
hear that I am really 38 and have a 14 year old daughter that lives with her
mother, they are stunned. And if they have a problem with all that, then NEXT.
Good genetics or clean lifestyle ;^) I dunno what, but I have never had a gray
hair or any wrinkles or anything. Makes it much easier. And the beauty is, if I
do try to poach a cougar, they get a guy their age that looks like a guy way
younger, and they love it. Now if only more of them were more attractive to me.
And whats funny is when I was 25, I went to Cancun with a buddy. While there,
I hooked up with HB9 from Kentucky with a body to die for. She was 36. I set up
a date with her for the next night, but I remember saying to my buddy before
the date, "I dont know, man. Shes pretty and all. But shes 36! That is
pretty old, isnt it?" He talked me out of jamming on the date, and I had a
pretty good time. Whats funny about it is, now Im that old, too, and I it
makes me chuckle when I think about that.

That is what was said to me last night. "I like you but Im afraid you wont
respect me in the morning".
I have never understood this. Are there really guys that dont respect girls
that sleep with them the very same night they meet them? I have never thought
this about a woman, ever.
I subscribe to the notion that she literally just didnt have a chance. It was
beyond her control. How could her AFC designed Anti-Slut Defense possibly
withstand the rarely seen art of true seduction? It was not really possible for
her to say no (and not in a Mike Tyson kind of way). She was simply tranced and
spellbound - overwhelmed. How the fuck can anyone ever call her an easy slut
when this happens?
In fact, whenever a girl sleeps with me the first time - whether the first time
we meet or not - I always call her immediately the next day, ask her how she
is, thank her for the exquisite time, maybe hook up again next week, let her
down firmly but gently, guard her feelings a little, etc.
I have no idea if this is what the manual says to do or not (I am slowly
reading through it, and I guess I havent got to that part yet). But that is
what I do right now.
Because of all the AFCs out there who somehow manage to beat the odds and score
with a girl, I have to spend half my time trying to soften her ASD.
Fuckers.
BTW, the number one thing you can do to negate this phrase IME is to convince
her that you absolutely do not kiss and tell - ever. If you can get her to
truly believe this, you are almost always guaranteed the lay.
In my case, this is true. Some guys lie to their buddies about the girl they
bent over last night (when all they really got was a dry goodnight kiss). I
always lie the other way. If I am asked by a friend what happened with the HB
he saw me with last night, I just say shes a nice girl but we didnt really do
anything.
My theory is that other guys have no business knowing what she and I did, but
girls talk and she will tell her friends and word will spread amongst the girls
that she got together with me (which is good).

Yeah, exactly what I do. The moment I start talking to a girl I basically have
my hand on her back or around her waist. And I dont let go. In fact, now that

Dont agree, guys. I dont think you give even a single flower. Too much
significance to a girl. No matter what you have told her about yourself (you

Good post, Sandstorm. I havent read all of the player guide yet (not up to the
patterns part). I am slowly reading and digesting it (You guys are prolly
thinking "Why does this chump always have an opinion on this forum when he
hasnt even RTFM?")
Be patient with me, I am just going slow and absorbing. This stuff is all new
to me. I have never had too much trouble with women because I am a natural born
smooth talker. Dont know if what I do is patterning or not. I just start
talking and watching her response and adjusting and talking, etc. Rarely strike
out.
My playground is almost always the clubbing scene - Ive heard it is the
toughest environment. But before this ASF stuff, I knew that I could walk in on
any given night and take down 95% of the girls in there. I can usually #close
just about any of them - to the point where it surprises me when some girl
wont give her number to me. A lot of times they resist at first, but I can
usually get it.
Please, please take this in the spirit it was given. I am not one to brag - I
never kiss and tell. I just love women - thats all I know. And I feel that the
people on this forum are kindred spirits and it feels really good to talk with
people who understand this weird affliction of mine.
The things Ive learned from you guys since I discovered this whole ASF stuff
last month is rather astonishing to me. Never met my equals before. It feels
great. And I feel I can really be honest about this stuff and bounce ideas off
of people who are as good or better than me.
As far as the patterning, I have to admit I am still skeptical. However, if it
works like you all say, it is going to be remarkable. And the palm reading?
Man, I have a scientific bent, so it is going to take some work from me to whip
that out on a chick. However, I am definitely going to try it. When I start to
read that stuff and try it out, I will report back here.

Hey, having good looks is certainly like getting a 10 foot head start, but
believe me, it aint just that. I know because I used to model and shit (Ill

The secret (and its no secret) to getting consistent poon is attitude. When I
was in the modelling world, I knew guys that looked like fricking Greek gods,

One thing that is repeated over and over on this forum is to stop thinking that

Hey Mik, you are asking for specific answers for some very general questions.
The best thing would be to read the entire player guide. Dont worry too much
about what you should say, slows you down and wastes energy.
And yes, you should immediately start to PU any of the HBs in reach. Dont
hesitate. Just get in there and try.
And ignore AllWeatherGals comments. Ive read her posts before and she usually
has a balanced, thoughtful, and informed opinion. Dont know why she got her
panties in a twist today.
And I dont agree that these ASF techniques dont translate well to other
cultures. Human nature is human nature. I suspect that some of the better PUAs
(like finalD or Juggler or whoever) could be airlifted and dropped into

To me, it is very, very important. Eye contact shouldnt be staring at all. I
would freak out if someone started staring at my eyes unblinking. When I am in
close and giving heavy eye contact, my eyes rove to her ears, her hair, her
mouth, perhaps her body, etc. But only for a split second and then I am back
focusing on her eyes. Its like the base and you wander away from the base but
then hurry back before wandering around again.
Eye contact (and probably more importantly, kino) is the difference between
these two messages:

BTW, just for fun and to show you how important eye contact is in human
interaction, try this experiment (with a buddy or something):
Most people, when they converse with each other, will frequently glance at the
other persons eyes and around the room, back to their eyes, etc. It is
completely normal and what everyone does, even with their mother.
Well, instead of looking in their eyes when you are talking, look just slightly
to the left or right of their eye. In other words just to the outside corner of
their eye.
Just act normal, look around the room, etc. But when you glance back at their
eyes, make sure you look just slightly to the right or left and focus there
instead.
It will weird them out because it seems normal to them, except that something
seems to be a little off. And they cant put their finger on it. It feels
really strange when someone does it to you.

I dont agree that it is the Alphas who are putting down the Omegas. It IS
society that does this - if by society we mean the sexual mores and concepts of
right and wrong that are introduced to our consciousness at a very early age.
If an Omega feels he should be unassertive and complacent and accepting of his
role in life, it is certainly not the Alpha male that forces this upon him. It
is a choice, based on the information he has chosen to accept.
People respond to only one thing in life - incentives. And these incentives are
either a carrot or a stick. Every action and interaction, every choice that a
person makes is based on this concept. The only reason we do anything in this
life is to move towards something that is attractive (a carrot), or to move

Thanks for your well meaning response. But as I think about it, I dont really
mean that I get bored. "Bored" is perhaps the wrong word.
What I really mean can be illustrated with this story:

Part 2. I learned both, but Part 2 is considerably harder to play and Part 1 is

Also, if I remember, the site will ask you to install a plug-in when you first
go there, but it is essentially the guitar teaching part that you need, and
its pretty cool.
Once there, if you click on the links on the left, it will load up a video or
audio file on the right. And as you scroll down on the left and see the boxes
with the different riffs in it, you can click on them and they will load up a
midi version that you can slow right down to follow along.

Simple. I can help. My ex-wife (audience laughs and points) used to absolutely

I just reread this entire thread, and I have to say it is pure gold.
What Tunnces and MadDash said is so right on the money. Man, an rAFC could
stumble upon this forum, read nothing else but this entire thread, and he would
have everything he needs to become a world class PUA.
I am a new to ASF, but not to entertaining the ladies. In fact, I thought I was
the best at seducing women (and indeed I was - out of all the people I knew).
In fact, if I was hanging with a buddy and he liked a girl and wanted to talk
to her, I would have to go stand way across at the other side of the room. He
would want me to approach the girl with him, so he wasnt doing it alone. But

Reminds me of a time when I went to a nightclub in Vancouver a bunch of years
ago. It was THE spot at the time and there was huge line up outside. After I

But while we were approaching and heading up to the front of the line, this
white Ferrari drives up, stops in the middle of the road right in front of the

So later after I got in, I was wandering around and I went up to one of the
bars to get a drink. The place was packed. So Im standing there at the end of
the bar waiting for the bartender, and he finally comes over and when he does

there." I look to where he is pointing and there was one of the Ferrari hotties
further down the bar.
So I figure cool, Ill give her some eye contact and see whats what. But that

Whats important in a club is flow. You have to be able to "take a tour". If
the dance floor is up against a wall or something, you cant tour around the
club naturally. The whole place should have a natural flow around the dance
floor, so traffic can move both ways.
And I always try to stand near the girls washroom. I always get after my

Yeah, Monopod. I know I set it all up in a professional framework. And I am

For what its worth, heres how I felt with a sort of similar situation.
About 10 years ago, I started a 3-way relationship with two girls. (Ive had
several 3-ways, never any 4-ways, and never with a guy - only girls and me. Im
pretty sure I would wilt if I looked over and saw some guys teabag flapping
around.)
Anyway, I was in this 3-way relationship for 6 months. They were always at my
place, we always went out together, etc. And they were both extremely hot
(easily HB9.5), so they would have guys hitting on them right and left. If we
were at a club, for instance, they would be dancing together, I would be
ignoring them, guys would try to hit on them, and they would leave with me at
the end.
So to apply my situation to your situation:
I really liked one of them and the other one I fell for. And they both really
liked me. So inevitably there started to be a little tension. I tried to give
them equal treatment when we were in bed, but it was hard. They started to
compete for my attention.
And fuck, was I ever tired - I would be up all night, every night, getting busy
with these girls and had to work early in the morning. And I am not the type of
guy who gets his rocks off quickly - if she aint feeling like a queen, then I
aint feeling like a king. So it was a LOT of work.
Now, having two girls at the same time is every guys dream, but dont ever do
it long term, guys. It sucks. Things like that should be one or several night
stands.
I didnt really resent or start to hate the one I liked less (like you did),
but I started to feel like I didnt want her around. I wanted to start only
laying the one I liked better. Does that make sense?

I tend to think you are right, Tzeen. It all boils down to the differences
between men and women. Women tend to be more emotional and men tend to be more
visual.
So if a guy is short, balding, and fat, he still might be able to talk his way
into a girls bed (and perhaps her heart), by displaying values that she finds
attractive on an emotional level. This might be accomplished, for instance, via
the methods and seduction techniques he learns from ASF.
However, if a girl is short, balding, and fat, she wont get anywhere with some
guys (including me) no matter what her game. This is because men are visual and
shallow. That might sound extremely biased and unfair (no offense intended,
ladies), but Im just being truthful. Men respond to visual stimulus, and she
can play seduction games or pull PUA tricks out of her hat all day long; it
just isnt going to work.
In other words, an ugly man who learns seduction skills and is confident might
be able to attract a better class of girl. An ugly woman is going to have to

Im presuming it was the same girl all 5 times? I managed that only once - when

Hey relax, formhandle, my friend. We are all extremely grateful for the work

regulars around here should be able to say exactly how they feel.
If someone has an opinion about this new board, then I say lets hear it.

Just dont take any of this personally. Do what you want to do. And if enough
people think it is a bad move, let them express it without being afraid of

Might not be a bad idea. But personally, I dont think I have the time to read
these regularly.
My ex left a whole stack of Cosmopolitan, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, W, Mirabella,
and Flare mags here. So I got lots of reading material - but no time.
The only thing I make time to read anymore is The Economist and the odd Maxim
mag.
Oh, and also I regularly get Victorias Secret catalogs in the mail. I bought a
thing or two from them one time for my ex and every week or so, I get another
magazine or catalog in the mail.
I toss them out but I always keep the latest one. And I keep it in a noticeable
place (not too obvious), and HBs ask me all the time, "Why do you have a
subscription to Victorias Secret?" I just reply, "I dunno; I just do."
They always pick it up and look through it. And then they always get insecure
(heh heh).
And man, there is no better cure for oneitis than to look through this
magazine. You should see the HB on the cover of the Summer 2002 (pant, pant,
pant).

Zap, of course I dont mind. We are all here to learn from each other. Just
about anything you guys drop on this newsgroup is instructive.
About that gym scenario. It is a harsh landscape, fraught with dangers, and can
be very, very intimidating. Obviously, it was very intimidating to all the AFCs
around her. They never said a word to her.
Heres why it is more intimidating than usual. Most of the PUAs around here
seem to have one of two arenas in which they practice their arcane art:
1)

The club scene

Coffee shops, bookstores, galleries, malls, etc.
These two types of places require drastically different wheeling styles. Most
PUAs gravitate to one style or the other, and they learn what works. Eventually
they become really comfortable in their chosen milieu (I, for one, flourish in
the club scene).
But these two arenas offer a little bit of dignity shelter. Heres what I mean:
If you attempt to pick up a girl in a club and you get shot down, you just move
on to the next one. No problem. Its her loss. The whole nature of a club is
liquid and flowing. Lots of girls there for you to try to PU, nobody really
heard exactly what you said to the girl, or what she said back to you, etc. It
IS a tough place to wheel, but relatively safe.
Doing your work in a bookstore environment is also relatively safe. Its
usually just one on one - just you and the girl. She either accepts your
advances or she doesnt. The approach is usually quiet and almost unnoticed by
others. So if she gives you any grief, you can just NEXT her on the spot and no
one is the wiser. You move on to the next one.
Now teleport your friendly neighborhood PUA out of his natural environment and
into something like this gym. There is NO dignity shelter. Your target is
surrounded by AFCs who will watch your every move. You are virtually in earshot
of everyone. You have to make your way through the crowd to get to her, and you
cant rely on a pretense that you are looking at a CD near her or something. It
is very obvious to everyone what you are attempting to do.
You are heading directly to her for only one thing - to attempt to meet her,
and everyone in the room, including her, knows it. So you are watched like a
hawk. Its like doing your normal bookstore PU with 30 people standing around
taking notes. Very intimidating.
So if she burns you down in a bad way when you try to meet her, it is very

difficult to eject with dignity intact. Not impossible, but much harder than in
our normal PU environments. You have to do the walk of shame back through all
the AFCs who are secretly laughing at you.
In other words, you almost cant do this approach unless your ejection
techniques are very good, or you know it is almost impossible for you to fail.
Just recently, someone (Alessandro?) said that they havent been turned down in
a hostile way in a long time. Your game has to be that good or you are going to
look bad.
And yes, I approached her with my model scout hat on, but there is no question
I would have approached her anyway without it. I have this attitude that life
is short and when I am old, I want no regrets.
We have our Newbie Mission. We should all have to do something like this as a
Graduation Mission or something.

I had this girl flake on me, and in my mind I have Nexted her. Last night was
the last straw.
She had flaked once before and I had basically written her off. But I saw her
last Sunday, and she said to me "Please come to my house this Thursday. I will
make it up to you. I will make you dinner. I have major exams on Wednesday that
I have to study for, but I really want to get together with you after that. I
know you are busy, but whatever you do, keep Thursday evening open. If you
dont I will be mad. Make sure."
So I said, "Alright. Thursday should be ok."
Foolishly, I did not set a time for the dinner. But I figured oh well, lets
see if she calls to let me know what time to come over.
Well, as I expected, Thursday came around and not a word from her (I have call
display at home and she also has my cell number). And there was no damn way I
was going to call her. I had already expended way too much effort on this
chick. If she really wanted me to come over, she would find me. And if not,
then who cares.
I got off work at around 5:30 PM. No call from her on the call display. Fuck
her. So I showered, got changed, and went down at around 6 PM to the local pub
for hot wings and drinks with my buddies.
Altogether now: NEXT!!!
I got home at around 2 AM (long, but fun story). My call display showed that
she had called at 9:55 PM.
Now she might have a really good excuse for ditching our dinner plans.
Sometimes she gets called in to work at short notice, for example. But there is
always a phone near her wherever the hell she is. So there is no excuse for not
calling.
Ive read in the Player Guide and in various posts that you should:

should your tone be?
Some guys say to call her on her bullshit. Say something like, "Dont
disrespect me like that. My time is valuable and if you say we will meet on
Thursday, then we better meet on Thursday."
In other words, let her know her behavior is unacceptable and that you are
pissed off. This demonstrates that you are not a normal AFC and that she cant
play flake games with you. So this is a good approach. But, it can make it look
like you were hanging around near the phone, waiting for her to call. And also
that Thursdays meeting meant more to you than it (obviously) did to her. In
other words, you had nothing better to do that night and you cleared your
schedule.
But then Ive heard other guys say that you should come across as indifferent.
For instance, "Oh yeah. We were supposed to get together on Thursday, werent
we? Hmm, I ended up having drinks with a friend."
This is also

just ignore her and go about your business because she pissed you off?
Or should you continue down the apathetic route by telling her you are pretty
busy, but you might be able to find time for her? Noncommittal. When you see
her out, say Hi and all, but stay busy with other people, ignoring her, but
generally staying nice to her. Your dinner plans with her was such a minor
event in your life that you barely remember it, let alone getting mad about it.
Or should you NEVER take her back? Once a flake, always a flake. In other
words, once youve NEXTed a girl should she always stay NEXTed in your mind?
Ive heard all of these different viewpoints argued convincingly.
What do you guys advise?

Man, I have been studying women intensely for years. And I am rather adept at

My friend, you will learn something alright. But believe me, you are setting
yourself up for lots of misery. I have had a lot of interactions with women of all ages and types. And my experiences have ranged from AFC
cant-sleep-at-night-thinking-about-her bullshit to
top-of-my-game-two-models-in-my-bed PU artistry. So I know exactly what you are
thinking about this girl.
If you continue down an AFC road with this girl, will you get to make out with
her? Will you get to sleep with her? Maybe. After all, eventually even AFCs get
lucky. Or none of us would be here.
But for the most part, as you interact with women through the years, you will
lose far more than you win. Every now and then, an AFC will win at BlackJack in spite of his shitty play. He will luck out and have a good night. Then he
thinks that he is a card sharp and really knows how to play BlackJack. But the
casino is swathed in gold because of chumps just like this. They know that even
if an AFC has a winning night, he wont tomorrow, and in the long run, he loses
far more than he wins.
Reading and following the Player Guide, and more importantly, listening to
these guys who have far more experience than you, is like learning to count
cards in BlackJack and beating the house more often than it beats you.

Because if you dont, you might not get a lot of action (and maybe you are not
looking for that). There are a lot of AFCs and only a very few PUAs.
When I go out to meet girls, I dont think "If I dont find an HB11, Im going
home". This is because I know they are extremely rare (and besides, Maddash and
CPowles keep taking them all). Instead, I will gravitate to the best ones - the
ones that closest approach my Platonic idea of a woman.
And what do I find in the general population of women?
50% WP & UG
45% HB7 to HB9
4% HB10 & HB11
1% FPUA
So if I dont find a FPUA or a HB10+ when I go out to stretch my legs, am I
going to try to close a HB7+ that I happen to find? You bet.
Numbers game, remember. So to turn it around to your situation:

Dont know about those acronyms and dont know if the percentages represent

Dont agree with you here, Smu. Only someone who is really alpha and secure

psychology effect. It all depends on the context and the timing of what you

For instance, I have a buddy that I hang with sometimes. He is always laughing
and joking, as am I. The two of us are usually the life of the party. One thing
he says all the time to hot chicks is something like this:

Any of you guys experience this?
Heres me talking to this HB in a restaurant the other day and she is trancing

Anyway, its not the first time I have been accused of it. I guess I am just
way too smooth and different from most guys.
I dress well, I dont really care too much about engines and tractor pulls. I
dont drink beer (well, Corona sometimes). I am a wine aficionado. I listen to
jazz, classical, opera, Sarah Brightman (fucking goddess). But I also *love*
Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, NIN, etc. I play bass guitar and anything
with really heavy bass gets me going bigtime. Thats why I like all the hip hop
and gansta shit - heavy bass.
I am a hedonist. I like fine art. I have no houseplants at all, but I always
make sure I have fresh cut flowers in a vase (yes, HB, I bought those for
myself)
I dont watch sports on TV. Doesnt interest me. In fact, a couple of weeks or
so ago, I went with a girl to one of the popular restaurants in my town (yes, I
paid). The whole place was empty except for some bored waitresses. I asked
"What is going on? This place is usually packed." The waitress then says,
"Well, everybodys home watching Vancouver in the hockey playoffs right now.
Whay arent you?"
Man, really fine Canadian I am. I didnt even know the playoffs had started.
lol. Anyway, I dont really watch sports. But I was captain of my baseball team
for 8 years and played lots of football. And 6 years of Kyokushin Karate. And
love to golf. And Im well built from years in the gym. So I DO like sports,
just not on TV.
I do have a pretty boy face. And I am always overdressed for everything. Just

the way I am. And I was married to an esthetician who used to slather me in
creams and facial stuff. So I have zero wrinkles and zero gray hairs. I am 38
and but *always* get 25 - 28 from everybody I meet.
And frankly, I dont care at all what people think about me. I like and get the
ladies. I dont understand the concept of homosexuality; after all, how can a
guy not be enthralled and in awe of the female form? Makes no sense.
Just rambling on here, guys. Just wondering if anyone else has ever run into
this?

Man, you are right, AWG! I should not have posted this message! What happened
was at about 2 AM today - after the HB left, I was still feeling euphoric. I
sat down and pounded out this "field report". I didnt post it then because I
wanted to reread it first and I was tired.
Half an hour ago, I came back to my computer, turned on the monitor, and
absentmidedly posted it without rereading it! I always have a bunch of windows

Im kind of the same way. I usually have 3 or 4 GFs at any given time. But if

Ah, the double standards of the PUA. The PUA can see as many girls as he likes,

I dont know if this has been suggested before. I have read most of TFM and
lots of the archive and dont remember seeing anything like it, so Im sorry if
this is not new.
(Subconscious interjection: Move through life without apology, Zan!)
Wait a minute! I take that apology back.
I havent heard anyone mention something like this but IME, it is a very
powerful technique. Here is the essence of it: Profess your undying affection
and devotion to the girl - and then NEXT her.
When to use this? When you have seen her several times, you have had great
rapport, but now it feels like she is starting to flake. If your thing with a
girl was hot at one time (she tongued you down, lots of EV and talking, etc),
but now you sense the whole thing is starting to drift towards LJBF land, and
you have nothing else to lose, try this. It just might help to resurrect a
moribund relationship with a girl.
Or if you really like a girl but you have done some stupid AFC moves (and who
among us havent?) and she is starting to lose interest, try this.
I have used this before to devastating effect. It sounds very AFC at first
blush, but hear me out. Notice the difference between these two paragraphs
(which I just made up and are cheesy, but its just to illustrate what I mean):
AFC: I think about you day and night. You are so beautiful and I adore you. I
cant wait to see you again.
PUA: I think about you day and night. You are so beautiful and I adore you. But
now I must go. You have touched me on a very deep level and it is more than I
can bear. I am helpless before other women and I will only hurt you and myself.
I cant see you anymore.
Say the first phrase to a girl and she thinks "Ha ha, I have a yappy new
lapdog. Buy me dinner!" Zero challenge; she has already won.
Say the second phrase and it throws her into a whirlwind of emotions. Her whole
world becomes the cover of a romance novel. Her nurturing instinct kicks into
high gear (after all, you are a victim of your desires and she must save you).
She knows she is about to lose you. And she senses that you are about to run to
the arms of ten other women for comfort.
It is very powerful. But the key is that she has to know that you really mean
it. It has to be believable. You are *really* not going to see her anymore. And

you should believe it too. After all, it was going cold already anyway and she
was probably going to LJBF you.
And this is important - say it and then split. Get the hell out of Dodge. What
I have found is that in a lot of cases, she will become obsessed with you. You
will be bombarded with emails and phone calls from her. It is almost impossible
for her to resist this challenge.
She almost certainly will try to coax you back. But only if you do this move
while your rapport is still fairly strong and things are still going reasonably
well between you two when you ditch her.
And when she contacts you, you must remain congruent and never let her feel she
has you. From this point on. And the beauty is that you *can* go back to seeing
her, but now you are the one with value. You are the prize. And you are the one
that appears ready to leave at any moment. She WILL work to keep you.
And you have established the fact that you see other women and you cant help
it. And she cant complain about this because you told her the way you are and
that she might get hurt. But she still wants you anyway.
I pulled this on a girl recently. We were making out and I was kissing her neck
and stuff and we were both feeling really good.
Using a poem from the manual (and slightly altering it), I said something like:
ME: (kissing her neck and talking very slowly) You know what I am, HB? I am
your teardrop... I was conceived in your heart... I was born in your eyes... I
live on your cheeks... and I will die on your lips.
Then while lightly kissing her lips, I said some variation of the adoration /
Nexting phrase I mentioned earlier. And then I got up and took off.
This girl was almost certainly going to flake out on me, but now she calls me
every night, wants to see me, understands that she is not exclusive, wants to
save me, etc.
In fact, I have used this as a way to establish almost every one of my MLTRs.

Yeah, my style is very similar to Alessandros. I do the cocky / funny thing

FiD is right - to a degree. I wont look twice at a girl below an 8. But if for

Please shine a little light on this for me, guys.
Why does the manual say to never give her your phone number? For instance, "I
have a rule. I never give out my number to girls. But you can give me yours..."
I know it says something about women liking to collect phone numbers and making
a game out of it, etc.
But I ALWAYS prefer to give out my number than to get one. This goes completely
against what the manual says to do.
The way I see it, the advantages of giving out your number are:
1*** Allows you to say "I have a rule. I never collect phone numbers from
girls. But you seem like a nice girl. Ill give you mine. Call me if you want
to join me sometime..." Implication: Not needy at all - you have lots of girls.
2*** If she calls you, you know for sure she is interested. If she doesnt
call, then who cares?
3*** It eliminates the need to ask "Should I call her the next day, or should I
wait a few days, or should I wait a week? What if I get her machine? Should I
leave a message? And should I cut it off in mid-sentence to get her curiosity
up?"
I, for one, hate this little mental tug-of-war, because I liked her when I met
her and my impulse is to call her right away and set something up ASAP.
4*** It makes you out to be the desired one. Kind of gives this message: "Call
me if youd like to get together. I am pretty busy, but I would love to be able
to fit you in." The implication is that you are having a fun, exciting life and
if she wants to get together with you, she has to make the effort to get in
touch with you.
5*** When she does call, it allows you to play dumb as to who she is. She is
the one trying to get you to remember HER. As in:
HER: Dont you remember giving me your number last Friday night?
ME: Of course I do, you are that cute blond that was wearing that sexy black
dress.
HER: Uh no, I am brunette.
ME: Oh wait, now I remember you. You were wearing a white skirt. How could I
possibly forget that gorgeous smile?

Huge social proof both ways if your cell phone goes off while you are

with some girl and it is another girl on the line.

The only disadvantage I can think of is that that she tosses your number and
doesnt call. Big deal.
So help me out here. I am a lamb that has lost its way. Where have I gone
astray? Would some kind shepherd please lead me back into the fold?
