Narrative of Offense Committed
On or about the above stated date and time, the Defendant did

drive a motor vehicle while his (her) motor vehicle license was denied or revoked under Iowa Code Chapter 321J

AFFIDAVIT

STATE OF IOWA,

I, the undersigned, being duly sworn, state that all facts contained in this Complaint and Affidavit, known by me or told to me by other reliable persons form the basis for my
belief that the defendant committed this crime
State all facts and persons relied upon supporting elements of alleged crime

On Saturday, January 22, 2016 at approximately 11:06am I was running routine patrol in Early. I then observed a black 2006 Dodge Charger bearing IA
plate CYV898 coming west on 4th Street to the stop sign at 4th and West Main. I then observed a male driver, who I knew to be Marcos Vargas. I had
previous knowledge that MV was revoked, OWI test failure. MV then turned south on West Main Street. I then activated my emergency lights. MV
immediately pulled over to the east side of the road. As I approached the vehicle on the drivers side I explained to MV that he was stopped because he
did not have a valid licenses. Marcos stated that he knew he was revoked for OWI test failure. I then went back to my vehicle and ran MV through the
communication center. The communication center advised MV was revoked. MV was then asked to step out of the vehicle, handcuffed and placed
under arrest for driving while revoked, OWI test failure.
