December 29th, 2015 to January 29th, 2016

In an effort to shamelessly ride the coattails of /r/science and promote /r/toonmusic, I have decided to
put together the subs first formal transparency report. In particular, I often hear complaints (from
myself, inside my head) that /r/toonmusic does not have enough cartoony music videos, resulting in a
massive amount of boredom that could have been avoided if the subreddit was more active.
I hope that these documents will demonstrate the accuracies of such claims. I might attempt to produce
these transparency reports on a regular basis if Im less lazy in the future and I hope that we can
continue to work towards improving user-moderator relations and shamelessly whoring out this sub.
Lastly, I would like to highlight that while /r/toonmusic is designed to be a strict subreddit for the
posting of cartoony music, our partner subreddit /r/amv is designed for the more common variety of
music videosanime music videoswhich may be posted there without the heavy moderation of such
content in /r/toonmusic because it does not belong there. Because the threshold of shameless subreddit
whoring out has not been reached for this paragraph yet, Id like to add that there is /r/fanmv for fanmade music videos that dont have anime OR cartoons in them.

Traffic Stats for Toonmusic

None, really.
Bans on Reddit Science
Below, you can see a sample of my moderation log, highlighting all bans over a three month period:

A more detailed look at bans follows:

Typical AutoMod ban:

I dont even have automod set up there.

Modmail in Toonmusic

Lastly, I wanted to quickly go over modmail. This was rather easy, so it may be a feature in my regular
Transparency Report. Anyways, some quick stats from the last month:

Total Modmails - None

User Flair Requests - None
Ban Discussions - 0
Obscene Ranting not even one
Removal Questions - nada

Other messages might have included those automatically sent from AutoMod (about user reported
comments and/or submissions), daily AMA posts, spam, etc. if the subreddit was actually at all popular.
As it is, though, theres nothing.

I hope that you found these figures and explanations interesting and enlightening. As always, I am happy
to discuss my policies and am open to any suggestions that the community may have. I hope that this
will be a regular feature and point of discussion on /r/toonmusic, because that might imply that there
are people posting neat things.
