Introduction
The increasing use of smart phones has resulted in the increased level of communication among
the individuals with respect to the increased social needs among them. The miniaturization of
smart phones and their purposeful features have introduced the messaging features which are
considered to be profoundly used by the individuals. The effective utilization of messaging
features is found to be useful for personal, as well as professional purposes (Wheelen, 4). Apple,
being the largest cellular brand in the world effectively addresses the customers needs by
providing variety in the context of messages so that the messaging features can effectively
address the customers need to interact with people in number of manners. The current study is
aimed to discuss the features of messaging in iPhone and provide a detailed procedure to carry
out the messaging features implicated by the iPhone (Carlson 1-2).
Messages
The massaging feature enables its users to send text messages to recipients as a way of
interaction. IPhone is considered as the most desired brand and the company also incorporates
such features that are simplified and user friendly. Apple Inc. believes in addressing the
interactive need of its users given in a shortened period of time and hence, simplified procedures
are introduced to reduce the time required to type and send the text messages. The continuous
upgrades in the iOS cause the modification in the system applications and therefore, the method
of sending text messages described by Provan (8) is described below:
1. The first step is to select and open the messaging app from the home screen in order to
begin the process of text messaging.
2. Select the upper right icon that comprehends the message.
2
3. A new window will open in which type the name of the contact if contact is saved in your
contact list of type the number of the recipient if the contact is not saved in the field that
comprehends To.

4. Then type your desired message and tap on the send icon.
Multimedia Messages
IPhone provides its users with the features in which multimedia messages containing images,
pictures or audio can be sent to the recipients (Husain et al. 4). In this way, the messaging
features are made more interactive by providing the users with the ability to share multimedia
content. The procedure of sending multimedia messages is described below:
1. Tap the messaging app from the home screen and then tap the upper right icon which will
begin the process of messaging.

Group Messages
The group messaging feature incorporates the tendency to send one message to multiple
recipients at a time. In this way, users can interact with several recipients at a time while
avoiding the constant rate of switching threads in order to carry out conversation (Grossman, 7).
The steps to send the group messages are as follows:
1. Open the messaging app and select the upper right corner to write a new message.
2. In the To field, write the name or number of the recipient, and then tap the + icon in
order to add another contact. More recipients can be added by repeating the similar
process. Type message and then tap send in order to finish.

Message Recovery
The data is the messages can be crucial to the user and if such messages are deleted that there
exists the need for such messages to be recovered. The messages that are deleted accidently by
the users or may be lost due to some internal glitch are recovered by using the iSkysoft software.
The software provides the recovery features to its users by restoring the recovered messages. The
software scans the iPhone to analyze the messages that are deleted and are needed to be backed
up. The application then downloads the data from the iCloud backup so that the data can be
restored. In this way, the deleted messages are recovered and saved in the iPhone so that the
users can access them whenever they want. Therefore, the iSkysoft provides the iPhone users
with the comprehensive plan to back up their data if any encounter with potential accident is
occurred (iSkysoft).
