Not Giving Up Hope


Sandy Duncan is a television star. When she
started filming her shows she was okay. But after a
while she began to have terrible pain in her left
eye. She was given injections for the pain. The
pain got worse.
Sandys doctor gave her an injection right in
the eyeball. The eye began

to bulge. I began to look like a guppy, she said.


Right then, the doctor picked up the phone and
got me into the hospital. I was scared to death.
The doctors cut a tumor out from behind the
eye. They told her that she might be able to see
again with that eye. But after a while the doctor
said no.
