Description: Working as a Software Design Engineer in Test II with Expedia Online Travel Solutions

for its Air Supply Business where I am involved in test automation and feature development of
enterprise level web applications

Working on development of enterprise level web services for communication with down level
GDS systems to fetch results for flight searches.
Build prototype for logging of data by in house air supply web services to Amazon S3 web
services, so that it can be consumed by real time Storm topologies for early detection and
remedial of price changes and aid in self blacklisting of non profit routes.
Been the lead in efforts for the design and implementation of the first automation framework in
my team and setting the benchmark for subsequent frameworks. Worked in testing of web
interfaces for different message exchanges in the shopping path and also involved in capacity
planning, deployment testing and stress testing for different modules for Adapter services.
Lead test efforts for the pricing services for Air in Expedia at all fronts right from transitioning
knowledge from teams in US to making the product ship ready. Been one point contact in the
team for support and bringing the team up to mark to consume the services for test and
development.
Single handedly managing the quality control for orchestration services being build for revenue
optimization and inventory control for the air business in Expedia right from build automation
systems to automation framework and deployment tests
Involved in testing different test and learn activities being scoped for Air business and involved
in automation of UI features using Cucumber test framework and monitoring using SiteCatalyst
and Omniture
Support Also being an active participant in investigations and debugging of critical live site
issues and other issues where my domain knowledge can be used and maximized for best

Achievements

Promoted in a year to level II

Been the lead in transitioning critical pricing service from the team in US to product team in
India and setting up knowledge base from where it could be consumed and developed.
Shipped various products and services to production for revenue optimizations, traffic
control and adapters for consuming new GDSs endpoints directly

Description: Worked as a Software Engineer II at Adobe Systems with its Media Solutions OEM

group

Worked on the production of HTTP Streaming SDK, which provides media solutions to
many customers l i k e B B C a n d E S P N for dynamic http streaming of media content.
Developed a generic Log Parser for Flash Media Server to allow administrators to
easily parse and query large amount of log data for useful information.
Worked on Security Testing of Flash Media Server and threat model plan designed by
Adobe Security Assessment Team.
Worked on developing a Proof Of Concept for Ad Slicing and Insertion in ongoing media
stream through HTTP Streaming SDK.
Worked on modifying the existent FMS facilities to add Differentiated Services
capabilities to provide differentiated Quality of Services to the end user.
Providing OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers) solutions for FMS binaries and source
code to customers for their own implementations of media servers.
Also worked on Android Mobile Application Development and an application BlueShare,
an interactive application for audio, video, images and contact sharing at one go using
Bluetooth apis for Android.

2. Won the Best Application award within my Business Unit for creating HTTP Stream Clipper for

for later use using Adobes Flash Media Server.

Engineer in 6 months of joining
