Figure 5-4 Input terminals of the C-type PDU

The C-type DC PDU provides two 48 VDC inputs or one 48 VDC input.
When the PDU provides two 48 VDC inputs, the input terminals are connected as follows:
l

NEG1 (-) connects to NEG of the first DC power supply.

RTN1 (+) connects to RTN of the first DC power supply.

NEG2 (-) connects to NEG of the second DC power supply.

RTN2 (+) connects to RTN of the second DC power supply

PGND connects to the ground cable.

When the PDU provides one 48 VDC input, the input terminals are connected as follows:
l

NEG1 (-)/NEG2 (-) connects to NEG of the DC power supply.

RTN1 (+)/RTN2 (+) connects to RTN of the DC power supply.

PGND connects to the ground cable.

NOTE

When the PDU provides one 48 VDC input, input terminals NEG1 (-) and NEG2 (-) shall be connected
with the short-circuit piece. You can select any input terminal to connect to the power input.
