Vision: Every child should get free or affordable quality education. All hardworking families should

Mission: Our mission is to organize, educate and empower communities to address poverty and
systemic inequality in power through community organizing.
What we do: Organizing for the Future is a change organization. We try to change the conditions
that affecting people lives. We bring people together for effective action where individual cannot
do it alone. We are planning below social change projects in Kapra, Hyderabad, India.
Our method of change: There are many ways to improve world. We focus on one way, the strategy
of community organizing building powerful, ongoing groups to change the conditions causing the
problem. It is not charity work. We believe that we are trying to do something that no one else is
doing in this area. This type of bottom-up approach for building societies and organizing by ordinary
people at the community level has changed the fundamental mode of operation of societies all
around the world.
Core processes in our work
1.

Building relationships with communities to organize people for solving community problems.

2. Laser-sharp focus on developing leadership.

3. Building alliances with other groups.
4. Research potential winnable solutions, involving the people affected by the problem, experts,
institutions and other actors in the community.
5. Development of collective action plan around the agenda by leveraging the power of people.
6. Evaluate and reflect on the commitments we made, learn from our actions, and keep acting.
Our Women Empowering Program-To create better world
Nation building starts with empowered individuals. We are organizing women empowerment
workshops in low-income areas. We believe educating women has a huge ripple effect on entire
community. Empowered ladies will bring change in their family and in the world.
The famous squirrel of the Ramayana carried grains of sand to help lord Rama build a bridge across
the sea. What it got for its efforts is immeasurable.

In this 5 months workshop we empower them in all spheres of life at individual level,
family level and community level. We train them on vocational skills, develop their individuality,
provide knowledge, entrepreneurship ideas and motivate them to take the ownership of their
community issues.
Goals:

To develop their self-esteem, self-awareness and self-confidence

To increase their income and to decrease dependency on their spouse

Help them to contribute more to their families and communities

Develop a community learning center including various other skills like technology education
with computers, spoken english and other useful programs.

Need of the Project:

We identified many low income areas in Kapra, Hyderabad. In those women are suffering with
unemployment, unstable jobs, low self-esteem and lack of opportunities to go ahead in their life.
Many hardworking girls who dropped out of college/school and young housewives are willing to
develop new skills to improve their lives for better.
Through our grassroots campaigns we understood that thousands of families struggling to make
ends meet, and they dont have economic security. They desperately needed women empowering
workshops to receive economic opportunities, and to maximize their potential. Our work is to ensure
anyone willing to work hard should reach a better life style, and also making sure quality education
is affordable to them.
Strategy & Targeted area
This program is a community outreach program. Our strategy is we reach out communities, organize
them, touch them and empower them. We would like to setup multipurpose skills development
workshops in their neighborhood community. We already completed this kind of projects in two low
income areas (Yella Reddy Guda & Gandhi Nagar) in Kapra. Based on our past experience this project
is estimated to empower close to 100 ladies in each of below other areas, in Kapra Hyderabad. The
beneficiaries are including high school, college drop outs and young women. .

organization started date.

We reached out close to 200 low income women (that is 1000 including their family and
dependent members) and developed their skills, empowered them to maximize their
potential.

We organized below big community events to bring together for a change, to interact, learn
and grow.

thousand rupees and also bigger loans more than 2 lakhs for a new start up if they have a
business plan.

Our commitment & hard work is opening many opportunities to communities. We got Rockwell
industries ltd to set-up a call-center office in the same location where we organizing women
empowerment workshops. This company started the hiring process to offer part-time or full
time jobs for many women in phase wise those who studied at least 10 th class. But
unfortunately this project is on hold from client slide.

Our tailoring skills development workshop is helping all the women stitching their own family
dresses; it saves them at least 3000-5000 Rs per year. Few of them working in boutique
shops, and some of them using their skills to earn money working from home, and some of
them are ready to take loan from the banks to self-support them.

We gave them knowledge for nearly 200 people about school issues, challenges and the role
of the parents to create better schools.

We organized a workshop with 40 women on how to make everyday households products at

home for very cheap, like Herbal shampoos, liquid-soaps, Washing powders etc. After this
