The Causes of the Cold War

After Second World War II, America and USSR became two super powers. One
country attempted to decrease the force of other. Thus the competition has increased
which led the Super Powers to begin the Cold War. The Cold War did not happen in a
day. It went through a few stages. It went through 7 stages starting from1946 59
1987. At that time, America took the authority of all the capitalist countries. The
Soviet Russia took the administration of all the communist countries, as an after
effect of which both remained as opponents to one another. There is no unanimity
amongst researchers in regards to the beginning of the Cold War In 1941 when Hitler
attacked Russia, Roosevelt the President of USA sent deadly implements to Russia. It
is simply because the relationship in the middle of Roosevelt and Stalin was great. In
any case, after the annihilation of Germany, when Stalin needed to actualize
Communist belief system in Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria and Rumania, around then
England and America suspected Stalin. Caroline Kennedy-Pipe emphasizes that the
dominant concern of the Soviet leadership was the security and survival of the new
Soviet state. She says that the Kremlin's major preoccupation was to control the
revival of German power. Stalin, she insists, was eager to garner U.S. cooperation in
the pursuit of this goal. Ideology, she claims, had little bearing on the direction of
postwar Soviet foreign policy. In his Fulton Speech on 5 March 1946 Winston
Churchill, the British Prime Minister said that Soviet Russia was secured by an Iron
Curtain. It drove Stalin to think profoundly. As an aftereffect of which suspicion got to
be more extensive between Soviet Russia and western nations and in this manner the
Cold War took conception. In this essay, I will provide clear and reasonable reasons
that caused the Cold War.

Different causes are in charge of the flare-up of the Cold War. At in the first place, the
distinction between Soviet Russia and USA provoked the Cold War. The political
scientist Douglas Macdonald argues that much of the newly available evidence
confirms many traditional analytical assumptions about bloc expansion, in particular
that there was a system-wide Soviet bloc threat with a significant amount of unity,
and that this bloc was both held together and driven to expand its sphere of influence
by the shared totalist ideological tenets of Marxism Leninism, largely as defined by
Moscow. The United States of America couldn't endure the Communist belief system
of Soviet Russia. Then again, Russia couldn't acknowledge the strength of United
States of America upon the other European Countries. Leffler examined one of the
focal propositions of Carolyn Eisenberg's new book (Cambridge University Press,
1996), in particular that the United States and Great Britain were essentially in charge
of the division of Germany correctly in light of the fact that the United States decided
the bearing and speed of improvements. Also, the Race of Armament between the
two super powers served another reason for the Cold War. After the Second World
War, Soviet Russia had expanded its military quality which was a danger toward the
Western Countries. So America began to make the Atom bomb, Hydrogen bomb and
other fatal weapons. The other European Countries additionally took part in this race.
Thus, the entire world was partitioned into two force alliances and made ready for the
Cold War. Thirdly, the Ideological difference was another reason for the Cold War. At
the point when Soviet Russia spread Communism, around then America engendered
Capitalism. This purposeful publicity eventually quickened the Cold War. Fourthly,
Russian declaration made another reason for the Cold War. Soviet Russia highlighted
Communism in broad communications and supported the work upheaval. Then again,
America helped the Capitalists against the Communism. So it served to the

development of Cold War. Fifthly, the Nuclear Program of America was in charge of
another reason for the Cold War. After the American bombing on Hiroshima and
Nagasaki, Soviet Russia got confused for its presence. In this way, it likewise took
after the same way to battle America. This provoked the development of Cold War.
Finally, the Enforcement of Veto by Soviet Russia against the western nations made
them to despise Russia. At the point when the western nations set forth any
perspective in the Security Council of the United Nations Organization, Soviet Russia
instantly contradicted it through veto. Thus, western nations got to be annoyed in
Soviet Russia which caused the Cold War. Only Soviet Russia and the ex-enemy
powers are capable of forming nuclei around which an anti-American coalition could
form to threaten the security of the United States.
The Cold War had expansive consequences in the global issues. At to begin with, it
offered arise to a trepidation psychosis which brought about a distraught race for the
production of more refined combat hardware. Different partnerships like NATO,
SEATO, WARSAW PACT, CENTO, ANZUS and so on were shaped just to build world
pressure. Besides, Cold War reduced the UNO insufficient on the grounds that both
super powers attempted to contradict the activities proposed by the adversary. The
Korean Crisis, Cuban Missile Crisis, Vietnam War and so were the impressive
illustrations in this heading. Thirdly, because of the Cold War, a Third World was
made. A substantial number of countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America chose to
avoid the military partnerships of the two super powers. They jumped at the chance
to stay impartial. Thus, Non-Alignments Movement turned into the immediate result
of the Cold War. Fourthly, Cold War was composed against humankind. The pointless
use in the weapon generation made a hindrance against the advancement of the
world and antagonistically influenced a nation and averted change in the

expectations for everyday comforts of the general population. Fifthly, the rule 'Entire
World as a Family was broken on the stone of disappointment because of the Cold
War. It isolated the world into two gatherings which was not a solid sign for
humankind. Sixthly, The Cold War made an environment of doubt among the nations.
They doubted among themselves how risky they were under Russia or America.

At last, The Cold War aggravated the World Peace. The organizations together and
counter-cooperation have made an irritating environment. It was a condemnation for
the world. Despite the fact that Russia and America, being super powers, approached
to understand the universal emergency, yet they couldn't have the capacity to set up
a ceaseless peace on the planet.
