The museum shape is simple and strong. Everyone recognize the form
and it will work as a landmark to the city and to national level. Its
shape that refers to Yin and yang bid an extreme interaction between
outdoor and indoor spaces. It invites people for curiosity. Its location
on the border of the Park and City make it works as a transition to
both ways while creating a barrier to the Park. The building is divided
in two parts: a built part hosting Artifact collection/ human knowledge
archive; and an open part where people, functions and activities meets
to form a dynamic and vibrant space.
The contrast between the dense city and the park articulates a true
urban experience, and as such, the Museum of Ethnology also reflects
the diversity of its users.

Museum Helsinki
>
The design of the new Guggenheim Museum is simple and strong to work
as a Landmark to the city. Its shape arise from the Genius Loci. The
bi-directional axis of the urban grid defines the twisted movement of the
volume. To mark the breathtaking panoramic views of the side, the Mus
um itself is a mutant piece of art. It frames all 3 churches on different
views, the panoramic views and changed its appearance on different a
gles. The museum provides therefore continuously free art to its environment.
A pedestrian bridge will welcome the visitors of the Thtitornin Vuori
Park to the esplanade, where it gathered all the people to the place
for outdoor seasonal programming and to the Museum. That will attract
and fill the area with dynamism to interact between indoor and outdoor.
The esplanade with its caf/bar is also accessible from the city-side by
stairs which can be used as seating tiers for performances. The retail
store is located on ground floor level at the city side while the restaurant is situated on the waterfront and will provide outdoor seating.

The Baltic Thermal Pool Park still offers a free view to the sea for
its surrounded citizens thanks to its volume perforated by spaces that
provides additional greenery parks to the building area. Visitors may
use those covered outside spaces all year round. They are sheltered to
rain and sunshine.
The building facade generate from the urban grid. Its material is of
co crete mixed with wood submerge itself to the natural environment
and reinforce the contrast between built and nature. It refers to the
remains of 19th century fortifications that are still found throughout
the city.
Its position offer a side in front of the beach and another in front of
the preserved Park area. The building shape is a rectangular bar that
contrast with the nature, determining the building area with the historic
preservation of the site. The use of heights provides more open views
to the sea. Its Yin and yang composition provide terraces on the cityside and on the beach-side.
All the roofs are accessible and provides sports facilities as tennis
court, beach volley, promenades and views.

Niveau 01, Niveau 02.
The outdoor infinity pools is located on the first floor and is direct accessible from the rooms of that level with the view on it.
Its size make it possible to have a long continue swim parcours.
The building looks immerge in water as the ruins to find in the
area. The indoor pool is located central in the building for an
easy accessibility from the rooms.
The outdoor pools are notified from the lobbies (income hall) to
strongly mark the theme and facilities of the resort.
They are linked through an underwater seating pool-bar on the
second floor. The water falls into the pools.
Besides the view (sight), the feeling of the water by temper
tures (touch), the odor of the fresh seaside air (smell) and the
taste differs from the different ingredients in thermal pools
(taste), the falling water provide the fifth sense (hearing).

COMMUNITY
CENTER
>
The CC H55 shape results of its location in the urban fabric and topographic area. It starts in a
movement as an extension from the peak-facade of the adjacent building towards the clock tower
of the church ending in a high peak. The roof structure of the CC H55 is an application of the
traditional character of the surrounding buildings with a contemporary touch of style. The high
peak refers to the highly gothic style of Prague, city of a hundred spires, and gives a dialogue
with the clock tower of the church.
The shape of the CC H55 is lowered in the middle to leave an open view to the garden from the
street level and give easily independent pedestrian access to the garden. The parabolic movement
provides the cellared level partially of natural light for daily use of the spaces, and give the
possibility to use the roof as an amphitheatre for outdoor events. The building is clad in wood
to integrate both the green surroundings and the character of the street. The entrance of the
library is at street level. The Community Centre and its multipurpose hall is accessible through
the lobby from the side wall on the side of the church, which allows easy access to the church for
joint celebrations.
1.
The partially underground level regroups the administra tion
parts such as offices, furniture storage and sound reproduction as the Community Centre with a defined zone from the
Park.
The multipurpose hall is located underground to reduce surrounded noise and is double height in the center. It is connected to the library if it needs to extend. The public library is
situated to the lower peak-roof part getting natural indirect
south-light from the seating structured roof.
The stairs to the different levels of the library is used for
seating and may be used for lectures and indoor events.
The Caf is located on the top peak of the high peaked roof.
It is accessible for both the public, from the outside (roof with
its stairs), and private, from the inside of the building. It has
a direct connection to the Lobby and its Community Centre as
well to the Multipurpose Hall on the lower level.

HOUSE
OF FAIRYTALE
>
The House of Fairy tales for the Hans Christian Andersen Museum is
designed based on transmitting a story to the visitors and its public. The
House of Fairy tales is composed of a museum part which is underground
and 10 Follies Houses disperse on the Lotzes Garden.
The Follies Houses get their origin from Hans Christian Andersen birt
place and fan out through Lotzes Garden to invade the city starting on
the Thomas B Thriges Gade towards the world like missionaries. They
brings his stories to the peoples.
Originate the Follies Houses were transformed and detached from the
typical neighbor houses on the urban grid. They became living and they
moves freely on the Lotzes Garden like the public. Together with the
visitors of the Garden they form the public.
Each Folly House has a story to tell. Their facade are all in white high
gloss painted aluminum with cutting pattern from the collection of the
papercuts works. Inside those installations the natural light will give an
enchanted atmosphere. During daytime the natural light will project.
Andersens work inside, while at night the inner artificial light will shine
his work to the world.
