In our rapidly changing society, I am convinced individuals need to be prepared and properly equipped to
be leaders in our diverse global community no matter the occupation. With this in mind, I am thrilled to
have the opportunity to send my credentials for your review.
Throughout my academic career I have had numerous internships both domestically and abroad that
developed my leadership and communication skills. In particular my current position as part time Editorial
Assistant allots me the task of supervising 72 writers and delegating weekly assignments. In addition to
developing my managerial skills; I have also expanded my expertise in marketing by increasing the
companys brand awareness by more than 150 percent. All the while in Washington, D.C. I gained sales
repertoire in developing customer relations through researching client needs and selling appropriate ad
packages. As for my international internship I took the initiative to compose press releases for distribution
to global clientele. I believe my previous customer service background in retail positions enhanced all of
these interpersonal interactions.
