BCC’s Education Committee Presents
Presentation: Waits River & Major Tributaries
April 20, 6pm, Bradford Academy
The Bradford Conservation Commission, along with the
Selectboard & Planning Commission, will host a presenta-
tion on recent studies of the Waits River and some of its
major tributaries. The studies were designed to address
ongoing stream processes and prioritize projects that can
move streams toward long-term stability, thereby reduc-
ing impacts to property, water and habitat quality and
lowering long-term maintenance costs. The meeting is
open to the public.
Music, Time & Place on Earth Day
April 22, 6:30pm, Bradford Public Library
Sandy Price will give a multi-faceted presentation link-
ing classical music with images of beautiful landscapes.
Rebecca Gottesman will display her original watercolors
of inspiring landscapes. Delicious confections and tea
will be served after the presentation. Program is co-
sponsored by the Bradford Public Library and the Bradford
Conservation Commission.
Film & Discussion - Unlimited: Renewable Energy
Monday, May 3, 6:30pm, Colatina Exit Upstairs
It features a group of passionate children calling for adults
to take action and address global warming. It also in-
cludes global warming and energy experts talking about
various promising technologies such as solar, wind and
tidal power, transportation and the issue of food as it
pertains to energy consumption. Part II of the BCC’s First
Monday Movie Series.

Learn how you can save energy and money by using the
sun to heat water for your home or business. Learn about
rebates and tax incentives for converting to solar!

trails need to be cleaned up for the coming hiking season.

of each month, and all meetings are open to the public.
