Today presentations are the way of life in Industry. The days of pen pushing are over. Ideas
and proposals have to be put across/sold through Presentations. It is a key success factor for
Executives today. Those who have the skills of Presentation can carry their seniors, colleagues
and customers with them and move up the Corporate ladder. Those who can???t are doomed
to be left behind. When you make a presentation, you are making impressions and creating
perceptions. These impressions and perceptions are "moments of truth." Audiences will make
major decisions about you and your company based on these ???moments.???
Years of work and thought are often judged by one presentation. You may get only one
opportunity! In today???s fast-paced competitive environment fortunes can rise or fall on the
basis of a single presentation. So it better be good. That means informative, to the point,
attention grabbing and memorable. Power Presentation is your key to success. You have to
present yourself forcefully, credibly, convincingly and effectively using PowerPoint for greater
impact and slick presentations.
Objectives:To develop the necessary knowledge, skills and attitude to deliver expressive, persuasive and
power presentations.

Preparation of a 1 minute presentation on a given topic without recording but


applying the points learnt.

Presentation of participants using memory aid, body language, feedback by


participants.

Practice of Pre-prepared presentation with Power Point. Maximum time 5 minutes


per participant

Pedagogy
The pedagogy will be highly interactive. It will leverage the use of technology. It will consist of a judicious blend
of lectures, real life case studies, quizzes and assignments.

Evaluation
Participants are evaluated on a continuous basis for all the courses. A mix of evaluation elements would vary from
course to course. Each course would have a written examination.
The evaluation of the programmes could consist of various components such as attendance, online quizzes,
discussions, assignments and written exams. The weightage for each component would vary from course to

course. The faculty while giving the course outline will indicate her/his criteria for evaluation at the beginning of
the course. Written exams will be held at selected cities during specified dates.

In order to qualify for the certificate title, the participant should have completed all the courses with a minimum
cumulative grade point of 2.0 and not more than 3 U grades in the programme
