Applications are invited for two posts of JRF in DST-sponsored projects entitled
Evaluation and Enhancement of Seismic Capacity of Assam-type Housing, and Seismic
Design Criteria for RC Structures Considering Mainshock-Aftershock Sequence for
Northeastern India at the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati. The appointment
will be on contract basis, respectively, for nine months and one year and extendable up to
project completion upon satisfactory performance.
Minimum Qualification and Experience: B. Tech. or B.E. in Civil Engineering.
Pay: Basic: Rs. 16000/- for first two years + 20% HRA and 1000/- Medical Allowance as
per IITG rules.
Candidates are required to report in Conference Room of Civil Engineering Department, IIT
Guwahati on 17 February 2016 at 9:30 AM. Candidates should bring detailed CV in the
prescribed format attached herewith along with original & photocopies of relevant
