39TH ELCHE INDEPENDENT INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL

The way of participation in the 39th Elche International Independent Film Festival is exclusively
online, through the web www.festivalcineelx.es, not admitting the presentation of original by
mail or courier services.

The author / producer / distributor have, therefore, four ways to compete in this year's Festival
but the official platform is the web www.festivalcineelx.es. The Organization is responsible for
"move" short films enrolled in these platforms to www.festivalcineelx.es officer.
The sum of the short films received four platforms discussed give final participation in this
Festival.
The works, original High Definition Video should be converted to the formats indicated in the
following table:

Those short films competing for the Mobile Filmmaker Award will last no longer than 15
minutes.
This site is open to the public. Everyone can view open exclusively via online web
www.festivalcineelx.es works that their authors have expressly indicated, as discussed in the
"To Compete" section.
The web application does not allow downloading videos for viewing on a computer, other
hardware or online.

To upload, rate and comment videos the visitor will have to register as a registered user on the
web, as indicated in the To Register section.
TO REGISTER
In order to vote, comment and compete, you must be registered on the web
www.festivalcineelx.es. Only takes a couple of minutes:
STEP 1: Choose username and password. Once registered, you will be asked users to vote,
comment and / or compete.
STEP 2: Fill in the fields of personal data.
STEP 3: Accept the Terms of the Festival by marking the appropriate checkbox.
STEP 4: Click the Send button.
Once registered, the user receives a confirmation email. You only have to register once at this
year's Film Festival.
A registered user may at any time modify your data and unsubscribe from the web. You will
have to enter the My Registry and once inside this option.

TO COMPETE
The Author / Producer / Distributor who wants to take part as a contestant on the web
www.festivalcineelx.es will have to follow these steps:
STEP 1: Register for the web elx.es www.festival cinema, writing their personal data in the
registration form, as indicated in the previous section.
STEP 2: In paragraph send video contest will have to fill the following fields:
Title, Director, Production, Script, Cinematography, Editing, Duration Minutes, Nationality, Year,
Category, Subject, Cast, Synopsis. You will have to provide a frame thereof.
STEP 3: You need to accept the terms and conditions that protect the Contest. This
document can be downloaded for reference.
STEP 4: The author / director / distributor necessarily have to choose between one of the
two modes of competition. While the display open to the public to visit the site. Well, in

the screening sessions at the Hort del Xocolater of the city of Elche and the Arenales del
Sol Beach, if selected as a finalist by the jury.

Once your video is uploaded successfully, the Author / Producer / Distributor will receive a
notice screen and confirmatory email as a receipt.
Once registered, the Author / Producer / Distributor can upload all the videos you want,
following the four steps described above, upon acceptance of the legal conditions in each video
you send.
The Organization no later than 24 hours is given to review the video and admit to the web.
In the case of detecting videos that violate bases will be automatically removed, being
warned the Author / Producer / Distributor through the email provided in the Register on the
web.
The web www.festivalcineelx.es has sufficient aid screen and a FAQ section to facilitate both
the registry and send video clips.
During the duration of this year's International Film Festival of Elche, participants can make
whatever inquiries wishing Technical Services of this website through the means provided in
the Contact section of it.
The Organization will erase all personal data from the web www.festivalcineelx.es at the End
of the Festival and the completion of the 39th Elche International Independent Film Festival, in
accordance with the Legal Conditions. For details see section Legal Site terms
www.festivaldecineelx.es, which can also be downloaded.
The Author / Producer / Distributor is solely responsible for all content of the film. The
Organization is exempt from any legal responsibility for them.
The Author / Producer / Distributor may terminate at any time any or all of the videos
submitted for competition. You will have to apply to the organization directly via email to
festivalelche@mediterraneo.es, clearly indicating the video or videos you want to withdraw
from competition.
Mobile Fim Maker: The short films intended to travel to Mobile Film Maker Award should in
addition to the above, fill in the Synopsis field model of smartphone, tablet and drone
employees and software used for postproduction. These shorts may not be longer than 15
minutes.
As mentioned above, in addition to the official platform, the authors / producers / distributors
can present their works through the aforementioned associated platforms. The Organization is
responsible for "move" these works to the official website of the Festival in
www.festivalcineelx.es
The author/distributor/producer has until 12:00 (Spanish time) on 16 May 2016 to send all the
videos you want, unlimited number.
TO PARTICIPATE
Participation is one of the objectives of this edition. It involves the enhancement of the work of
the Author / Producer / Distributor directly with their audience, and communication among
equals and thus enriching the cinema with contributions from both sides.

Thus, all Web users (registered or not) may link the videos and comment through social
networks in which they have presence. This web is also prepared for the user (registered or

film entered into the competition.

TO VOTE
Voting is another objective of this Festival. You can vote to all videos under consideration. The
web www.festivalcineelx.es allows the registered user to one vote per video, cannot vote
more than once at the same video.
The manner of voting is accessing the record of the work you want and there registered users
will have a button to vote to be activated once they have seen at least three quarters of the
video.
Registered users can view the videos and vote from the date of publication of the bases until
the day July 21, 2016 23:59:59 (Spanish time). The web application will be closed to the vote
count.
The most voted video on the web will be the winner of the Online Audience Award endowed
with DAMA Trophy.
The organization reserves the right to void any vote cast fraudulently or due to any kind of
manipulation of the voting system.
The Organization is exempt from all responsibility in case of malfunction of the Internet
network that prevents the normal development of competition through no fault of the
company or for external acts in bad faith. Nor will it be responsible for transmission problems
or loss not attributable to the same emails.
