Endangered animal: Giant Panda

Panda is an animal with black and white fur and large


black patches around its eyes. Till now, only 1000-2000
Pandas are living in the jungle and they can live for 20
years in wild. The origin country of Giant Pandas is
China
In addition, Panda loves to eat bamboo and they need
to eat a lot of food to keep alive. Pandas need to eat
10-20 kg of Bamboo daily. Apart from that, Panda also
eats leaves, stems, eggs, fish and flowers.
One the main reason that Pandas have become extinct
is they have nowhere to live due to rapid development
in China. Pandas have to move out to new habitat. When
Bamboo is cut off, Pandas have nothing to eat, and die
because of hunger.
Last but not least, wildlife shelter has been set up in
parts of China to make sure the pandas have a home,
and survive in the wild. Furthermore, there is a study
to increase the population of panda through breeding.

Endangered animal: Siberian Tiger

The Siberian tiger is the largest cat in the world and


have tail. means, no two tigers have the same striped
pattern. In addition, Siberian Tigers has thick fur to
keep them warm. The Siberian tiger resides in small
area in Russia, China, and Korea.
Siberian Tigers usually prey on animals alone and at
night. They prey on deer, rabbits, birds, bear, buffalos
and pigs. Siberian tigers kill and hunt animals by biting
their necks.
Siberian Tigers become endangered because
deforestation. poisoned and hunted by human, for skins
and furs to make clothes and coat by human.
Next, they are also illegally hunted for their bones to
make traditional medicine.
Last but not least, America has created law that stop
the buying and selling of tiger body parts. Then, there
are breeding programs to help increase the tiger
population.

Endangered animal: African elephants

African elephants are the biggest land animals in the


world and can weigh up to 6000 kg. They have giant
ears, long tusks and huge trunks. Elephants use their
trunk for smelling, and breathing. Meanwhile for tusks,
they are used for digging and fighting. These tusks will
continue to grow throughout the elephants life.
Elephants are herbivore and they eat only fruits and
plants. They play important role in environment where
elephants help plants to grow in new area.
Furthermore, elephants are in dangerous position
because they are hunted for their expensive tusks and
habitat loss where they cant find to live and starve to
death.
There are a few ways to help African elephants. One
way is to report tusks trading to police and never buy,
wear or sell tusks. Furthermore, you can boycott circus
as elephants get beaten everyday while performing for
circus.

Endangered animal: Giraffe

Giraffes are the tallest animal in the world and have


long necks with spotted pattern all over its body. They
live in African region and have large hearts. They sleep
only 2 hours a day and can sleep while standing up.
Giraffes are herbivores where they eat only plants
rather than meat. They use their long necks and tongue
to reach for leaves on high trees. They also eat fruits
and flowers.
Giraffes are killed for their meat and tails, which are
valuable for African people. They are also becoming
extinct due to habitat loss
In order to help Giraffes, dont buy products made
with giraffes body parts.
