BALLOT QUESTION
A proposal to levy a one-quarter of one percent (.25%) County-wide sales and use tax to be distributed to Central Arkansas Transit Authority, d/b/a
Rock Region Metro, for the purposes of providing public mass transportation systems and facilities. The State Treasurer shall deduct three percent
(3%) of the revenues as a charge by the State for its services of collecting and distributing the tax. The State Treasurer shall transmit to the Treasurer
or financial officer of the County the remaining amount of revenue derived from the sales and use tax, which shall be used only for the purposes set
forth herein.
