Tackle acne scars with the right treatments

Dermabrasion

The treatment has some downtime and there are certain side effects so do prepare for them. To fully remove the scars, the treatment has

Microdermabrasion
It is a more advanced version of dermabrasion and it is minimally invasive. It works with tiny crystals sprayed on to the skin by a handheld
device to exfoliate the skin. As the skin heals, the appearance of the scars gets lesser. The level of collagen production also improves as a
result.
Much like other similar treatments, microdermabrasion in Dubai also needs to be repeated a few times to get the results. There is very
little discomfort which can be countered with topical anesthetics. Side effects are insignificant and there is no downtime after the
treatment.
Dermal Fillers
The fillers are injected in to the scar for the purpose of evening out the skin and reducing the appearance of the scars. Since the fillers are
composed of collagen and natural fat, they offer great results. It takes a few days to get the best results and they will be maintained for a
few months generally.
Side effects with the fillers are minimal and usually there is no downtime. There is no pain except for pinpricks during the process of
injecting the fillers. After the effects wear off, new fillers can be administered to maintain the results.
