WORKSHOP ON
ANALYTICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL TECHNIQUES
17th, 18th & 19th March 2016
Global awareness on Ayurveda has increased tremendously in recent
years. At same time quality control & Standardization of Ayurvedic drugs has
also become essential. Our Institution has established Central Research Facility
in 2006. Our center has been approved by Dept. of AYUSH, Govt. of Karnataka s
a Drug Testing Laboratory for ASU drugs. CRF facilitated 204 PG studies, 8 PhD
studies in the year 2015. In last 6 years 1885 raw drug samples, 688 finished
products were anlysed and 1089 drugs were authenticated by CRF. More than
60 animal experimental studies on efficacy & safety have been conducted in the
CPCSEA registered Animal Experimentation Laboratory. Five patients were filed
in the year 2015. We have worked on more than 120 research domains,
including Ayurgenomics, Pharmacokinetics, Cell line studies, Quality control &
Standardization, Efficacy & safety studies.
To create awareness based on our experience, CRF is regularly conducting
workshops/ Hands-on training programs to PG scholars, Faculty members to
enhance their knowledge & skills of Analytical and Experimental Techniques. This
year Workshop on Analytical & Experimental Techniques has been organized on
17th, 18th & 19th March 2016, exclusively for PG scholars.
