1. Make a Stand on Issues involving the church, politics and
environment
2. Establish Basic Ecclesial Community in the Classroom, as venue
for Prayer service, Gospel Reflection, and Christian

their respective spheres of involvement and influence.

PHILO1: LOGIC
The course studies propositions and sentences,
argument construction and analysis. Includes the use of
Venn diagrams, testing of syllogisms, theory of
deduction, symbolic language of modern logic,
quantification theory. With emphasis on skill building in
logical analysis through drill work and problem solving

2. Problems/Feedbacks:
a. some students did the immersion almost at the end of the
semester
b. signatures, pictures, and narrative reports or journal as
triangulation- Lizada
c. monitoring
d. signatures sometimes are forged
e. working as cleaners/clerical works
f. some students are working in other parishes
g. activities are sometimes initiated by the teachers
h. SHS secretary is doing extra effort…
i. non Catholics are more active…with documentation
j. some students became active in their respective
parishes/churches even in a short period of time even the
involvement is cleaning the church..-Lorna
k. some parishes/parish priests are really taking care of the

3. Suggestions/Recommendations:
a. Require students to fulfill their PIP at least 5 hours per month for
checking
b. Require students to submit portfolios, pictures, journals
c. Coordinate with the Diocesan Commission on Youth, for the
grand launching of PIP at the Coliseum, July 2 or 4 (wholeday):
o There will be booth/ table provided for each Vicariate,
o Students will be instructed to search for their parish or vicariate And apply to
be a PIP volunteer to their specific Parish/Vicariate
o At the End of the Day, these participating Vicariate/Parish will provide list of
students
o There will be exposition of the various Ministries and Involvements which the
Students can join as part of their PIP.
o A Sharing / Testimony of previous PIP volunteers will be aired.
o The grand Launching will be capped by a celebration of the Holy Mass and a
send off prayer ceremony
d. Moderator to coordinate with the heads of the youth, vicariate
council and moderator to help in the monitoring
e. open it also to other commissions, catechesis, social action,
bible commission, youth commission,
f. ask the admin to provide a room or office for volunteers c/o Jay

aside from encouraging them to join the existing catholic orgs.

a. Volunteers need a center / room where Catechism materials can be
deposited, where they can gather for regular meetings, sharing
of experiences and lesson planning,
b. Some Parish Priest are asking the help of Theoplan A in establishing
Sunday school catechism classes in their parish.
3. Suggestions / Recommendation
a. tap EDUC (Lizada, Lagumbay, Estrellas) and CAS students as
volunteers…
b. EDUC students’ PIP shall be teaching with the Theo Plan A
volunteers (Lagumbay)
c. Dr. Lizada is 5 years already as Moderator and is asking for new
moderator to replace him, but Sr. Lauren and the department is
asking him to have it at least one more year…
d. Request from the VCAA for a room that will serve as an office or
center for the RS Department’s Student Faith Life Formation
Programs (PIP, TheoPlanA & religious Organizations: CYA, YFC,
DWLM)
2. Problems / Feedback
a. There was a lack of participation from the students due to the
movie: My sister’s Keeper.
b. There were some questions in the Bible and theology quizbee whose
answer was debatable.
c. The questions were taken from previous quizbee question bank, this
year it was not rechecked by other RS Faculty due to lack of
time for preparation.
d. churchgoers are donating rosaries, prayer booklets during this CAW
3. Suggestions / Recommendation
a. Let us ask our students to make more gospel actualization videos
on how the gospel message can be more alive in today’s world
like the ones shown: Hinulsol, The Devil’s Wear Pajamas, Marisi.
b. Let us establish the committee to prepare the questions for the Bible
and Theology quizbee: Chairperson: Dr. Galzote, members: Dr.
Lizada, Dr. Entila, Mr. Estanislao, Mr. Viaje
E. Other Matters
1. Ask the Brothers to ask for Lasallian rosaries and give it to the
students/members of the Lasallian family…confirm if during
freshman orientation students are given Lasallian rosaries
2. Centennial Celebration (2011 Lasalle foundation in the Phils.)
Start planning for the build up activities---progressive…
ex. Observance of important Lasallian saints, dates, etc..to celebrate
within this year (Fr Ronald):
-arrival of Lasalle relics in coordination w Fr. Quijano
-suggestion-line up all the activities in one month (Eres)
-highlight the value in every activity esp. Lasallian values
