The applicant must either hold the rights or have an appropriate option to acquire the rights necessary to produce the
project. This includes, for example, the copyright in a treatment, outline or script, and the right to make the project if it is
based on another work such as a book, unpublished manuscript, etc.
If this application is approved, relevant chain of title documents must be provided before funds can be released. These are
the documents that establish that the applicant holds appropriate rights to produce and exploit the film. Examples include
