Do you want to help new

IELI students? If so, you
should sign up to be a
PAL!

The Peer Assistance and Leadership (PAL) Program is

designed to help new students adjust to both the
academic and social environments at UNT. In this
program, experienced students serve as mentors for
new students. Mentors give advice and guidance to new
students. You must be in Level 3 or above to be a PAL.
This is a great opportunity for you to get involved in IELI
and be a leader. Share what you know and help a new
friend! To be a PAL, pick up an applica on from Jessalyn
or Raven in MARQ 202!

Remember: If school is closed for bad weather, all

students are responsible for keeping up with
assignments on Blackboard. Even if school is closed,
the assignments are due for class. Also, you should
update your contact informa on on Eagle Alert at
my.unt.edu. When UNT is closed for bad weather, Eagle Alert will send
you an email, a text message, or a phone call before you leave for
class. If you sign up for Eagle Alert, you will know
immediately when UNT is closed.

Never be bored again!
