Bharani & Important Years
a) If Mars is found in Bharani nakshatra then or if Bharani is Rising in the Asc then too, at the age of
7 or 8 there would be an health issue or accident or accident leading to permanent scar on the head.
b) If this does not happen at the above ages then it can happen at 27 or 28 age.
c) If Rahu is found in Bharani in Dreshkona (D3) then at ages of 7 or 8 there would be a skin disease
or health issue or cut on the head.

help all of us to grow

Sapta Rishis Dear Nimmi Ragavan ji in each divisional there would be a planet in a particular rasi, eg Mars in
Aries in D10, in that portion it would be in some degree of that rasi and from that the nakshatra can be removed.

Earlier Goravani Software used to give this position in divisional charts and now Jhora (Jagannath Hora) also
gives it.

Sapta Rishis Dear Sunil Rupani ji thanks for sharing ur experience, can u indicate the birth details in the said
post along with jpeg if possible and re clarify if the event happened in 8th year or 9th year. i am trying to think if
the retro position altered the age of the event
24 October at 12:38 Unlike 1

Nimmi Ragavan Dear Sapta Rishis, I am aware of the degrees allocated in the divisional charts. However, I am
uncomfortable with this, as I dont see the precedent in the texts. The problem is, as you add more and more tools
to the mix, anything can be explained with something. This removes degrees of freedom and the value (reliability)
of the result. Statisticians here will understand what I mean.

Gopal Krishna DOB 02.April 1962 8.35 AM ; Aries Ascendant 26 degree which happens to be in Bharani. No
significant incident at 7/8 years or 27/28 as suggested..When 27/28 a minor accident while riding motor bike
resulting in petty external injuries on face.. Also developed some sort of back pain due to riding bike..( around the
same time) which continued for some years but under control on medication. Ascendant contains Venus,
Ascendant lord Mars is with Jupiter and Moon in Aquarius . He was running Jupiter dasa ( end)

Steven Stuckey Chart below is Mickey Hargitay Jr., son of Mickey Hargitay and actress Jayne Mansfield. Born
Dec 21, 1958 @ 1:50 PM PST in Santa Monica, California.
He was injured in a severe automobile accident at age 8 (June 1967) and his mother was killed. His injuries
consisted of a broken arm and other unknown injuries. His mother, Jayne Mansfield, died instantly when the top
portion of her skull was sheered-off after the car they were traveling in rear-ended a truck in dense fog.
Mars, Moon (lord of 4th and karaka of mother), and Lagna all occupy Bharani.

Tres Devas I know it does not fit the criteria, but his mother Jayne Mansfield, did die of severe brain and head
trauma from the accident.

would have left so many techniques the way i discarded so many techniques in the past - do people feeel the

Sapta Rishis Dear Nimmi Ragavan ji i do agree with your point and always feel we need to keep jyotish simple
hence mostly i post only simple techniques. with regards to divisional nak series Parashara Rishi writes in BPHS
Chapter 8 Shloka 128
From Khavedhamsa (D40) Auspicious & Inauspicious Effects
From AkshaVedhamsa (D45) & Shastiamsa (D60) should be considered for all indications.
24 October at 15:18 Like

Sapta Rishis sorry by mistake i pressed enter, so lets assume D60 is to be used for all significations then we are
to use D60 like a normal chart which has Rasi, houses, planets and if planets are in Rasis then it is in nakshatras
too is the logic. But then it is personal logic and not of the Rishi as he has not explained it out. Yet more than 10
years back i had worked very hard on nakshatras in divisional charts, at that time i had to rely on a friend who
had Goravani software as no other software was giving divisional degrees of planets and Jhora put that feature
much much later. In 2010 i met James Kelleher in Vishakapatnam and asked him if he has tried divisional
nakshatas (i asked him since he has done a lot of original work on nakshatras was my information) and if i
remember well he said he has worked on it. So i got confirmation that others are also using it

Rajat Bose This native has Bharani rising in the Asc as well as Bharani as Moon's asterism. His whole body
beneath his neck was burnt with boiling water when he was around three years of age in Ven_Jup_Sat Vimsottari
dasa. However, he survived despite it being a 3rd degree burn. He did not suffer any scar on the head around the
age of 7/8 though. However, in mid-1993 (when he just completed 29 years) he saw the onset of a very painful
chronic disease of piles for which he suffers even now though acute conditions are--by God's grace--rare these
days. While he does not have a scar on the head or forehead till date but he gets hurt in the head quite often
sometimes even within a gap of a few hours especially when travelling. His head and feet have proved to be very
vulnerable in getting hurt. Interesting that not his Rahu but Ketu is in Bharani in D3. Birth details: DoB: Feb 19,
1964; ToB: 10:02 am; PoB: Kolkata, India, 22N34'44, 88E23'43 the lattitude & longitude data is the exact one for
the birth place.

Sapta Rishis Dear Rajat Bose, thanks for posting charts with varied events, it helps us all to learn. In the chart
posted Moon is in Mesha whose lord is Mars, who is also lord of 8H of piles problem. Was the boiling water
problem caused by a woman ? just wanting to ask and could you indicate which significant event happened in the
21st year of the natives life to his father (1st choice) or himself or his mother or fathers siblings, just wanting more
data to check if the birth time is correct, birth time changes in one second

schoolboy from nowhere came running across my car and although there was no accident but the impact of
applying sudden brake was so much that the wires in my engine started burning on the road itself. that incident
triggered a painful chronic disease which is still active ..

Rajat Bose Sapta Rishis No, it was not due to a woman he had to suffer the burn by boiling water. It was a male
servant inthe house who was carrying boilinhg water in tumbler for the native's grandfather. Native completed his
Part 1 Hons exam in 1984 but native's father had a mild cardiac arrest in 1985 when the native was already
beyond 21 years of age. None of the parents siblings suffered anything--to the best of his knowledge--in his 21st
year that was in anyway significant. Regarding his birthtime, it was properly recorded to the last minute to the
best of the knowledge of the native.

Sapta Rishis Dear Rajat Bose thanks for the feedback, all duly noted, in one second the D60 lagna changes

24 October at 16:07 Like

Rajat Bose Aware of that possibility, Sapta Rishis, both D60 and D150 (Nadiamsa) are very sensitive but it is
logistically difficult to record the birth time to the last second but for a prashna chart you may be able to do that;
hence, by that logic all birth times are suspect when it comes to seconds.

Shankar Nath Kapoor May I request learned friends to check in exceptional cases, if there re mor than two
stron influences either on Asdt.or Venus as well as the moon. _____. My friends May also check influenc of
influence oflords of 65 th Navamsa 22 Drkkana lords May or mrutyu bhag on venus moon and the Lagna in
cases of aggravated impact of Bharni. ---------- Another point is Navamsa enimical to Venus say Bharni -1, 3 &4 of
Leo, virgo debilitation, and scorpio of Mars. HOW FAR THOSE WHO ESCAPED FURY OF BHARNI HAD
ASDT. THE MOON, ARE IN BHARNI-3. THIS KIND OF EXCERCISE MAY HELP US TO A GRAT EXTENT-not
wholly malefic content of Bharni.
24 October at 17:14 Like 2

Shankar Nath Kapoor More than two strong benefic influences may have nullifying impact on Bharni's malefic
impact to a great extent. Influence of lords of 64 th Navamsa, 22 Drekkana, Mrutyu bhag may aggravate the
malefic impact of Bharni.

Sapta Rishis Dear Rajat Bose one of my astrologer friends recorded the birth time of his son to the second

time of the time of first cry

Nimmi Ragavan Adolph Hitler, Mars in Bharni. Apparently his father was violent and abusive towards his children
and beat them up to the point of unconsciousness. Quite possibly there were injuries to the head.
24 October at 18:41 Like 2

Rajat Bose Sapta Rishis Really encouraging information, undoubtedly! Anyway, if such precision in recording
birth time is available then it's too good; however, more than 50 years back such precision, I guess, was not
there; hence, we had to be content with the birth time being recorded to the last minute. I appreciate your hunt for
precision in this respect.
It seems to me that we are pursuing the same subject albeit with different orientations--you are onto minute
precision and micro nitty-gritties while I am more keen on the foundational principles getting the overall karmic
imprints of a nativity right--it is not to say that you don't care about foundational principles but you have graduated
far beyond them to focus on such minute precision while I am still picking up the pebbles on the astrological
seashore!

I, for one, have not been able to get past beyond the overall picture of Ashwani and Bharani acting on to
sprouting of the dual possibilities enshrined in the zodiacal sign of Aries where Bharani's apparent malefic intents
are acting as the gateway to a plane where its ruler Venus could ultimately confer immortality to the deserving
one.

26 October at 14:55 Like 1

Nimmi Ragavan Gopal Krishna I was born in Sri Lanka, and the only horoscope had rasi, navamsa and
vimshottri dasa. The astrologers used only that. and were very good predictive astrologers. If I can achieve even
an approximation of their ability, I would be over the moon. I am fond of the Occams Razor principle, of
necessary and sufficient causes. Explanation using a multitude of tools is often successful after the event rather
than before. But I also think, where it is psychic ability at work, the multitude of tools actually frees up the person
to select the tool to come to the conclusion they already actually know. So I am not against it, just that my
mindset is to replicate what I have seen done with minimal resources.

26 October at 15:12 Like 3

Gopal Krishna My perception is almost similar to yours. It is imperative that we use consistent tools for
prediction and analysis of past events with a different theory on each occasion does not help the person
approaching the astrologer for genuine help.
