EXAMINATION SECTION
The Online Registration Form for AIIMS, MBBS Entrance Examination -2016 is
tentatively going to live in the last week of January, 2016.
This year following changes are proposed in the Registration Form. Hence, aspirants
are advised to get acquainted with the changes so that while filling the online
Registration Form they may be well versed with new processes.

1. The city for examination will be chosen by

applicants after submission of examination
fees on first come- first-serve basis.
2. The applicants can choose any available city
and it will be immediately allotted to the
applicant. (This option will be active only
after payment of fees)
3. There will be a drop down list of States then
choose cities where examination will be
conducted in Online Computer Based Test
(CBT) mode.
4. The centre of examination once chosen and
allotted will not be changed and any request
in this regard will not be entertained.
(Select the choice of city with utmost care).
5. As the seats in respective cities are limited,
applicants
are
advised
to
register
themselves, make payment, Choose city
and submit their application format at the
earliest without waiting of the last date, to
avoid not getting the choice of city.

1. Registration slip will be generated only after uploading

of Photo/Thumb/Signature and all other details.
2. Uploading Photo/Thumb/Signature that are not as per
the instructions is the most common reason for
rejections of applications.
3. Kindly read the instruction carefully to avoid rejection of
application. It is preferable to keep the properly taken
Photo/Thumb/Signature before filing the application
form.
PHOTOGRAPH
a. Recent color passport size photograph with white
background is required.
b. The dimension of Photograph must be 3.5 x 4.5 cms.
(width*height).
c. It should not be blurred while enlarging it.
d. Black & White / Polaroid photographs are NOT acceptable.
e. Draw a box having size 3.5 x 4.5cms on a plain white
sheet and paste the photograph inside the box and then
scan the photograph on 200 dpi. Scan the area having
photograph only not the whole sheet (as shown in the
picture below).
f. Photo should not be taken by mobile phone camera.
1. To upload "Photograph.jpg"
a. Choose file Button right to the Photograph field
b. Select the Scanned "Photograph.jpg" file from
saved location and click "Open" Button.

SIGNATURE

Signature should be with white background.

The dimension of Signature must be 6x3 cms. (width*height).
It should not be blurred while enlarging it.
Draw a box having size 6x3 cms (width*height)on a plain
white sheet and put the signature inside the box and then
scan the signed area on 200 dpi. Scan the area having
signature only not the whole sheet.
To upload "Signature.jpg"

a. Draw a box with dimension of 6*3 cms. (widthxheight).

b. Put signature inside the box .
c. Choose file
Button right to the signature
Impression field (as shown in the picuture below)
d. Select the Scanned "Signature.jpg" file from saved
location and click "Open" Button.

THUMB IMPRESSION

a. Thumb Impression should be with white background.

b. The dimension of Thumb Impression must be 4*3cms.
(width*height)
c. It should not be blurred while enlarging it.
To upload "Left Thumb Impression.jpg"

Take a good quality stamp pad.

Put gently your left thumb and role lightly and take a
print on a white paper horizontally as shown in the
picture below.

The lines of the finger should be clear

Choose file Button right to the Left Thumb
Impression field.

saved location and click "Open" Button
