This is in response to Mr. Montalbo's Query:

for him to review & finalize draft contract (we will provide);

The content of the contract is ok

for him to agree to provide and facilitate all drawings, permits & license
requirements pertaining to the civil, electrical & plumbing works. (fees will be to
our account);

I can provide all the drawings needed for the Building permits
but fees for the Drafting and Signatures of Engineers will be
charge to Alsons.

we will facilitate for him issuance of Surety bond & Performance bond thru AIBC
(premiums can be deducted from the contract amount);

Performance /Surety Bond will be facilitated by Alsons and it

will be Deducted to the contract amount

He needs to indicate how much the down payment will be;

Down payments if possible will be 50% so as not to have so many

request papers for billing

He needs to provide us a brief of his company, projects & assets (should include
all of his & the company's licenses and permits)

Company Briefts, Projects and assets will be provided as

requested.

I already spoke with PIC. Please facilitate Job Order document preparation. PIC can
call and negotiate with Artates for a final contract price. It would be good to inform Engr.
Artates of the following:

Have you reviewed the details of this new bid offer? If everything is in order, can
we negotiate in this manner:
Materials
Labor
Profit
Contingencies
Total

1.196M
.478 @40% of material cost
.167 @10% of Mat'l & Labor cost
.050 @ 3% of Mat'l & Labor cost
1.891M

Perhaps we can negotiate further and round this off to P1.850M.

We can should be able to justify the increase in the amount from our original P1.5M
renovation budget because of the following additional
scope of work:
built up wall in the processing room
wash shed
carton stock room
enclosed sorting area
dressing rooms
