SPRING CLEANING
Its spring again, the weather is good, and there are
spring flowers in your yard. This weekend is a great
time to open all of your windows and refresh your
home. Its time for spring cleaning! And Rachel Green
has the best tips, so just follow her advice.
First, you need to be organized. Get a notebook and
pencil and write a to do list for each room in your
home. Walk around and analyze each room. Answer
three key questions in each one: What can I throw
away? What do I need to clean? What do I need to
organize?
Next, get three boxes, two big ones and one small
one. You should label the big ones trash and give
away. Put all the stuff you dont use into theses
boxes. The trash is stuff to throw away old

receipts, broken stuff, etc. Put things that you can

give to charity or maybe to friends, into the give
away box. The small box is for things you need to
store or just put away in drawers and closets.
Check all your cleaning products before you start.
Remember you can get special products for oven and
for carpets, for example.
Answer the following questions
1. Who gives her advice? Rachel Green
2. What is the name of the list? to do list
3. What do you need to do before you start cleaning? You need to be organized
4. What are the names of the big boxes? trash and give away
5. Whats the season? Spring
