During March, you are invited to bring socks (new, still packaged)
and toilet paper (in original packaging) donations to Aldersgate and
leave them in the marked bins in the Reed Room. These items will
be delivered to The Haven in Charlottesville to help the homeless. If
you wish, you may let us know when you are out shopping by
posting photos on Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram.
There will be wish lists in the Reed Room for the Ronald McDonald
House and Greer Elementary School. Bring these items in and we
will see they are delivered. Please mark items RMH or Greer.

On Palm Sunday, March 2 at 2:30 pm, Bishop Young Jin Cho will be on
the Charlottesville District at Aldersgate UMC. All prayer covenant
churches and anyone interested in prayer are invited to this gathering.
Bishop Cho will offer some encouraging words, as well as hear how
prayer has changed or transformed us. The Aldersgate Praise Band will
be providing some music. The Bishop would also like to hear about any
useful resources you have used on the subject of prayer. We will close
praying together for a renewal and revival of our churches! Invite a
friend! Everyone, laity and clergy, is invited to this gathering with Bishop
Cho.
