Future club dates are March

ISTEP+ Coming
We will begin the first portion of ISTEP+ starting on
February 29th. This portion is called the Applied
Skills section. Students will
be doing math problems and
explaining how they got their
answers as well as reading
passages and answering questions or writing an essay

Scipio PTO
The PTO will be having a meeting on Monday, Feb 29th at 6pm.
This meeting we will be to discuss the Spring Carnival. This is
the PTOs biggest fund raiser.

End of Third Grading Period

The third grading period will end
on Friday, March 4th. Report
cards will come home on Friday,
March 11th.
Spring Sing !
On Thursday, March 17, our second graders will celebrate the
coming of spring with our annual
Scipio Spring Sing in the gym at
7:00 PM. The program will last
about 20 minutes after which light
refreshments will be served in the
cafeteria. Please mark this on
your calendar and plan to attend!

The Good News Club will be

from 3:30-5:15. Please have your
permission slips turned in by
March 1st.

These funds are used thought out

the year to help the students and
staff of Scipio Elementary! It takes
a lot of parent volunteers to have
a Carnival. We would love to
hear new and exciting ideas.
