The Teacher’s Corner web site is an excellent website for multiple resources. It has a great
section for puzzle makers and printable worksheets for every subject. It has premade lesson plans for all
subjects that range from grades K-12. It scored high on ease of use and reliability, along with high marks
in on learning objectives and goals clearly stated. It has an easy to use interface and is very easy to
navigate.
Teachers Discovering Computers, 5th Edition Page 3 of 7

I would recommend this site for multiple reasons. It is a great resource for beginner teachers to
get premade lesson plans to build upon, and provides lots of information for every subject taught in
school. It is versatile in that it covers K-12 and includes all subject matter. It is very easy to use, very easy
to navigate, and is a good place to find materials to build a lesson plan on. The puzzle maker is easy to
use and the printable worksheets are good for teachers that are looking for supplemental material for their
classes.
Based on the scores that I gave the site and the overall quality of the material, I would
recommend the site for use to any teacher looking for extra material. It scored high in the areas of
importance and the quality of the subject matter is trustworthy,

The overall layout of the site scored hit marks, receiving a 5 on content accuracy, reliability, grade
appropriateness and student centered learning activities. There was an average score for multimedia due
to a lack of any multimedia within the site. The links were easy to use and it was easy to navigate.
I would recommend the site for physical education teachers that need extra information on how to
teach nutrition to students. It is also a good site to get general guidelines on nutrition plans for students to
follow to stay healthy and fit. PE teachers would be able to reference this site for help on lesson plans
involving nutrition and dietary content.
The reason I think this is a good site is the reliability of the information and the range of
information regarding nutrition for kids. It is easy to use and is a good reference site for any PE teacher
that wants reliable and accurate information, and help teaching techniques of healthy eating.

The website got excellent marks in accuracy, reliability, and age/grade appropriate. It did dot
have many multimedia links so it scored 4’s on that criteria. Navigation was easy and worked properly,
therefore got high marks. The overall score for the website was a 92 out of 100.
I would recommend the site for lesson plans for all grades K-12 in all subject areas. It provides a
basic lesson plan that teachers can build upon and customize to their liking. There are many lessons to
choose from and it gives teachers a range of topics to pick from. It doesn’t have many multimedia links,
therefore, teachers looking for these types of lessons will find the site less useful but it is overall a good
site, especially for beginner teachers.
The reason for the recommendation is that the site provides multiple subjects and multiple lesson
plans to choose from. The information is accurate and reliable, and provides teachers something to build
upon in their lessons. Teachers looking to have a blueprint to guide them through a lesson or subject will
find the site very useful.

The Webquest was a good site for basic information but did not go into depth, therefore, it
received average marks in that category. The information that was provided was accurate and reliable
and received above average marks in those categories. There was not much user interactivity and it was
not visually pleasing, and received average marks for those as well. Overall, it was a good site, but did
not provide the level of interactivity or depth to rate an excellent grade.
The Webquest would be a good resource for basic information on the topic of physical fitness, but
did not go into much depth, so it might not be a good site to use in the classroom. It does however,
provide links to other sites that have much richer content and could be used to help students find the
necessary information needed. By itself, it does not provided enough information to use as a teaching tool
for students, but does have some elements that could be useful, such as the chart included in it, or the
links provided to other content.
The reason in got average marks was the depth of information within the site. It only covered
basic information and is not very useful in terms of using it as a teaching tool. It does guide you to other
sites that are of use, therefore, teachers might navigate through the links to determine if there is
something they could use in a lesson. Overall, it was a good site for teachers to start from, but does not
provide the level of information to warrant an excellent grade.
