GUEST HISTORY:

Data of guest who have stayed with the hotel before. The information filled by
the guest in GRC during their check in may be transferred to the guest history
card or it can be stored on hard disk of the computers through Guest History
Management Module.

Hotels that believe in improving their personalisation often maintain guest


history Cards, which enables the reservation to know which guest is regular
client & therefore deserve close attention. This cards records personal likes &
dislikes of them so as to provide them the better services & make their stay a
memorable one.

Guest history may record following details:

1. Guest personal details- name. Address, passport details etc


2. Date of birth
3. Wedding anniversary
4. Type of accommodation-smoking/ non smoking room, etc
5. F & B preferences- type of cuisine
6. Favourite TV channels/ TV shows
7. Favourite newspaper /magazines

If the hotel records the guest’s preferences, guest may feel very happy &
satisfied when he will get all that he wanted even without asking for it.
