Answer each of the questions below within the limits given. Before you begin this page, you should
complete each of the other pages in this document, then write your summary to help us understand why
we should identify your chapter as the most outstanding in your division. The cells will expand as needed
to accommodate your text.
1. What significant contribution do you believe your chapter accomplished last year? (500 words or less)
[Answer #1 here]
The success of any professional organization lies in giving support to the members. Last year SPE RGCE
played the leading role in sharing the knowledge to the students and in preparing them to face the
challenges in the industry. Through unique intractive methodologies and field trips, the chapter offered
opportunity to the students to get exposure to the industry. The students who went for IPTC, Doha and
OGIC, Mumbai intracted with the professionals from the industry and shared their views about career in
Oil and Gas indutry. The HC-TECH, a one day workshop conducted by SPE RGCE gave the students a
picture about various streams of the Petroleum Industry.
2. What significant challenges did the chapter face last year compared to the prior year, and how did you
solve them? (200 words or less)
[Answer #2 here]
The primary challege was to establish a proper communication with the chapter and students, due to the
lack of knowledge of the students about the importance of such an organisation. By conducting
orientation programmes and interactive sessions, we made sure that the communication level went up
and the students understood how important, a society like SPE is.
3. In 25 words or less, write the announcement to tell why your chapter deserves this award. It might say,
for example, "For outstanding efforts to educate the community about the value of the petroleum industry
in promoting a healthy economy."
