GOD’S PLAN FOR A ONE-WORLD GOVERNMENT

While billions of dollars are being exchanged for nuclear secrets and components in the black market,
primary security concerns are aimed at denying access to such secrets and components by rogue
nations. Because, it takes a nation to actually develop a comprehensive program in order to build a
nuclear bomb. Rogue individuals can profit from such activity. But, they will never build a bomb.

This is an appropriate metaphor for communicating the essentials of kingdom advancement.

It would seem unfair of me to use the term rogue to describe folks who are joint heirs.1 I do not
consider my brothers and sisters rogue individuals, or their fellowships rogue nations in the more
common usages of the term. However, the fifth rendering of rogue is: an individual (or individual
group)2 varying markedly from the standard.3

Well, from my point of view, that particular application of rogue would apply to all of us. For, we all
vary markedly from the standard. Identifying with one another in our several variances from the
standard would seem the proper beginning place for any dialogue among sincere seekers of the
kingdom.

Considering the biblical standard, much money and many lives are being invested in rogue activities.
The enemy of our souls isn’t even nervous. Religious and sectarian4 spirits continue to rejoice

because individuals, groups of individuals, or individual groups will never level Babylon. Sparklers,
noisemakers, smoke and mirrors will not bring down Babylon’s mammon spirits or contribute to
kingdom advance.5

For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth
have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through
the abundance of her luxury.6

The early church met daily in the temple and from house to house.7 Some of our contemporary
brethren meet in houses, while others meet in temples (made with human hands)8—both groups
defending their preferences with proof texts. The Jerusalem church met daily, and was in one accord.
We surely have varied markedly from that standard—thus qualifying us as rogues in that sense of the
word. For, we do not meet daily. And, we certainly are not in one accord.

I am not saying that such issues are unimportant. I am saying that they are not the foundation for our
fellowship, and will only and finally be resolved when we approach them together—in one accord.
Unity does not require conformity. Grace facilitates many variances within, while at the same time,
honoring the borders that have been established by the true Standard, Jesus the Anointed King.

IT TAKES A NATION

It will take a nation to bring in the fullness of God’s kingdom on the earth as it is in heaven!9

God’s strategy is to redeem a people out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation,10 and
make them into one holy nation!11 (This is God’s plan for His one-world government!)

And having made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth.12

Then You made them a Kingdom, Priests for our God, Priest-kings to rule over the earth.13

God does not redeem nations. He redeems people, and adds them to His holy nation. There is one
church, one people, and one holy nation, set apart from all the nations of the earth.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD WILL BE GIVEN TO ONE NATION!

“Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a
hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and
went into a far country.

“Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might
receive its fruit.

“And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another.

“Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them.

“Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’

“But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir.
Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’

“So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.

“Therefore, when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those vinedressers?”

They said unto Him, “He will destroy those wicked men miserably, and lease his vineyard to
other vinedressers who will render to him the fruits in their seasons.”

Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: ‘The stone which the builders
rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in
our eyes?’

“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation
bearing the fruits of it.

“And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to
powder.”14

One singular holy nation, bearing the fruits of the kingdom of God, will reign under the headship of
Christ in the earth! We are to enjoy the blessings of God, and embrace His assignment to mankind.

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female
He created them.

Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and
subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every
living thing that moves on the earth.”15

Progress awaits the essence of His blessing. We are to walk together in every locality, city, or region
for God to command His blessing upon us. While He loves us as individuals, His plan for us will
unfold within the context of His body.

How wonderful, how beautiful, when brothers and sisters get along! It’s like costly anointing oil
flowing down head and beard, flowing down Aaron’s beard, flowing down the collar of his
priestly robes. It is like the dew on Mount Hermon, flowing down the slopes of Zion.

Yes, that’s where God commands the blessing, ordains eternal life.16

Thankfully, we have made significant progress developing global inter-connected relationships. We

can celebrate such progress while giving ourselves to embracing the body of Christ where we live.
It’s just not really working until it is really working in our locality. We need God’s strategies, apostolic

and prophetic foundations, and divine infrastructure in each of our localities. The kingdom must be
forged within geographic spheres, not denominational or network spheres. We are deceiving
ourselves if we think that it will work anywhere but in our own localities.

GOD’S ONE HOLY HOUSEHOLD, TEMPLE AND HABITATION17

Someone has said, “It takes a village to raise a child.” I prefer the way that Scripture puts it:

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy habitation.

God sets the solitary in families.18

Perhaps we can embrace this concept in the context of kingdom villages that, together, make up the
one holy nation. Each child of God is to be nurtured, discipled, in the contexts of family and
community. It is equally vital for such extended families to be inter-connected with the body within our
cities and regions.

• God is in His holy habitation, His people.

• God is in His holy household, His family.
• God is in His holy temple, His body.

• His fathering of the fatherless takes place within the context of His habitation.
• His defending of the widows takes place within the context of His habitation.
• His setting in of solitary individuals takes place within the context of His habitation.

Many times we are left wanting, and our prayers unanswered, because we are not rightly aligned and
associated within God’s holy nation. God’s resources are deposited within His nation, and are to be
made available to His family through our inter-connections with one another.

God resources His body through His body—in all ways!

Local fellowships, whether meeting in a house or a hall, are to be functionally joined together with
others in such a way that the true measure of God’s provision may be rightly distributed throughout
each locality. We are God’s provision for one another.

While each of us has all of Jesus in us as individuals, He wisely and strategically keeps much of
Himself from us until we discover Him in one another.

The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—just as You, Father, are in Me and I
in You, so they might be one heart and mind with Us. Then the world might believe that You,
in fact, sent Me. The same glory you gave Me, I gave them, so they’ll be as unified and
together as We are—I in them and You in Me.

Then they’ll be mature in this oneness, and give the godless world evidence that You’ve sent
Me and loved them in the same way You’ve loved Me.19
