Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist you get to find out what is really going on inside someone’s
head.
Main Duties
medical history from a patient, preparing the patient for the test, and then fitting electrodes to
their head. Once those are completed you will then monitor the patient’s electrical activity of the
brain and nervous system and report your findings to a Neurologist. You are also responsible for
testing and maintaining the equipment you used during the procedure.
Procedures
There are six main procedures you will use as an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist:
specially trained physicians to try and determine the best treatment for the patient. The data can
be used to help diagnose conditions such as brain tumors, strokes, epilepsy, and sleep disorders.

Work Environment
Some of the places you may find an Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist working are
private neurologist’s offices, neurology laboratories, and psychiatric facilities. The main place

You are not necessarily required to have any college education to become an
Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist since some facilities provide on the job training. However,
most of employers would like to have applicants who have an associate’s degree from an
accredited program. These are normally one and two year programs taught at community
colleges.

types of studies. Also, the pay scale is very good. The best part though, is you will be able to
