324 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last
week. The only time our Lord asked the Apostles for anything was the
night He went into agony. Not for activity did He plead but for an Hour of
companionship. (Archbishop Fulton Sheen) Remember to sign in at the

Join Fr. David, the parish staff and many others for the beginning of our LENTEN
MISSION presented by Fr. Damian Ference, PH.L. Sessions are Sunday, March 6,
Monday March 7 and Tuesday, March 8 from 7:00-8:00 pm in the Church.
You may remember Fr. Damian from the times he celebrated Mass here at
St. Augustine. Father is a priest of the Diocese of Cleveland. He serves
at Borromeo Seminary as Director of Human Formation and Assistant
Professor of Philosophy. His talks will include: God and Creation, Sin
and Redemption, and Sacraments and Mission. Change your plans if need be
and come for this Lenten time of renewal and refreshment.
The Charismatic Prayer Group will not meet Sunday, March 6, we encourage you to attend the
Amen, I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me
(Mt 25:40). Today, we are reminded that Jesus identified himself with our poorest brothers and
sisters. The Catholic Relief Services Collection serves Jesus in the victims of human trafficking,
those who suffer from unjust laws, and those who need pastoral care and humanitarian
assistance across the globe. Through supporting todays collection, you help Jesus in
disguise. Please be generous.

Ireland and Scotland Trip Deacon Robin & Paula Adair, and Fr. Norm
Douglas, will be hosting at trip to Ireland and Scotland, August 19-31, 2016

trips). An Information night will be held at Guardian Angels Church on
Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at 6:30. Consider this opportunity to travel

The W.O.F. Book Club continues with its reading and discussion of My Life with the Saints by Fr. James Martin, S.J.
All adult men and women are invited to participate, or just come by and sit in on a session. The next meeting will be
on Thursday, March 10 at 1:00pm in the rectory. We will discuss chapters 10-13 of the book. For more information

The Divorced, Separated and Widowed Catholics of Akron is holding a Popcorn and
Game Night at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church Convent Building, 1945
Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls, OH on Monday, March 14. We will start at 7:00 pm.

SAVE THE DATE FOR HOPE (Healing Our Pain Every day) a faith-based, safe
and fun weekend retreat for teens ages 13-17 years old, coping with the death of a
parent, grandparent or sibling.

Barberton Area Community Ministries item for the Month of March is Canned Fruit. All donations
can be placed in the bench in front of the giving tree in the vestibule of the church. Donations are picked
up on Monday mornings. Thank you again for all your support in helping us serve our brothers and
sisters in need.

Camp Christopher Summer Registration Now Open - Come Grow with Us

The next round of Euchre will be Friday, April 1, beginning at 6:30pm in the
school cafeteria. Players of all ages are welcome to attend.

envelope for Easter Flowers. Donations to the Flower Fund help to defray costs of flowers and
decorations in our church during the Easter Season. Monies received also aid the Parish
Sacristan in keeping the sanctuary supplied with all necessary items throughout the year. For
those using Faith Direct, if you choose to make a donation, please drop an envelope in the
offertory basket with the name of your intention. Donations must be received by Wednesday,
March 16 in order to make the flower list.

available on the following Sundays in 2016: April 24, May 22 or June 12 - The day
will begin with registration at 10:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Lunch is
served at 12:00 p.m. The day will conclude at 6:00 pm. The cost is $75.00 per couple

Congratulations to all the children that made their First Reconciliations this
weekend, may the graces you received in this sacrament strengthen you on
your journey with Christ. The Lords arms are always open to his lost sheep
when they are in need of the sacrament of reconciliation.

2016 Almsgiving Project - Habitat for Humanity Piece by Piece

Help us build another house for Habitat for Humanity Piece by Piece. Each level
reached adds another piece to the puzzle. With your help, we will be able to reach
our goal of $10,000 and will complete the house puzzle found on the back wall of
the church. Envelopes have been provided in the pews of the church; please make
checks payable to St. Augustine Church with 2016 Almsgiving written on the
memo line, donations can also be made through Faith Direct. Our current total is
