ADMISSION POLICY
1. SLU- LHS is a Catholic college preparatory school. Non-Catholics maybe admitted provided that they
participate in all religious activities that are required of all its students. No exemption shall be granted to any
student by reason of his/ her membership or affiliation with a different religion.
2. By reason of its being a college preparatory secondary school, it shall offer for Senior High School only the
three (3) strands of the Academic Track namely Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), Science,
Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS).
3. The school reserves the right at any time to refuse to admit or re- admit students under certain conditions as
enrollment is a privilege; and
4. A students application will be given due course only when he/ she meets all the requirements and has none
of the disqualifications prescribed by the school, Department of Education and pertinent laws.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

I. All Junior High School Completers who come from any recognized school in the Philippines or abroad, and who
have not attended any Senior High School prior to their application at SLU-LHS must meet the following:
1. Take the SLU- LHS Qualifying Exam for Senior High School and qualify within the allotted slots for the strand
that he/ she is applying for;
2. Obtain Application Form from the Registrars Office/ Guidance Office/ Principals Office. Return the
accomplished form immediately to the Registrars Office/ Principals Office with the following:
a. Photocopy of Grade 10 Report Card (Form 138) showing the latest grades;
b. Photocopy of Students Permanent Record (Form 137A) marked for EVALUATION
PURPOSES ONLY.
b. Certified true copy/photocopy of birth certificate;
c. Certificate of Good Moral Character;
d. 3 copies of 2x2 I.D pictures WITH NAME TAG (close-up, white background and)
For Boys:
identical decent (proper haircut, no colored hair, no long bangs, no earrings)
For Girls:
identical, decent (no dangling earrings, no make-up, simple hairdo)
e. Qualifying Test Result
f. 1 long white folder
3. Proceed to the Registrars Office for Evaluation.

Note: SLU Dependents must submit a proof of employment / certificate showing that his/her parent /
guardian is a permanent employee of the SLU(example: photocopy of SLU Employment Identification)

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION:

1. Must have qualified for the schools Senior High School as shown by the result of the Qualifying
Examination administered by SLU-LHS Guidance Office;
2. Must have passed all his/ her Junior High School subjects as evidenced by a Certificate of Completion
issued by his/ her school and have a character grade of Satisfactory (S) or above or its equivalent.
3. Completely filled-up Good Moral Character Recommendation by the Principal, Guidance Counselor or any
of his /her subject teacher.
REQUIREMENTS FOR CONDITIONAL RESERVATION:
1. Payment of Conditional Reservation Fee amounting to Two Thousand Pesos (Php.2, 000. 00) to the school
cashier. This amount shall be subject to terms and conditions stated in the Reservation Form;
Note: SLU Dependents must submit a Certificate of Discount on Fees and a Salary Deduction Form
(optional) during enrollment.
The Qualifying Exam Fee amounting to P390. 00 maybe paid at the same time so that the
applicant maybe scheduled for his/ her Qualifying Examination. The result will be released on
the date to be specified by the SLU- LHS Guidance Office.
2. Attendance in the Pre- Enrollment Parents Orientation. The date and time of which will be informed to
parents/ guardians upon the release of the Qualifying Exam results. After the parent/ guardian attended
the Parents and Guardians Orientation, the incoming student may proceed to the School Medical and
Dental Clinic for medical and dental check-up.
