Dante is able to create a correspondence that is imaginative in nature but able to connect with
the souls sin that is present on Earth and the punishment that is provided in Hell. The
punishments are received in accordance with the deeds that are done on Earth. This can be
said to be a structure of Gods justice. In the current time, religious intolerance has been a hot
topic. It is just like thrusting ones religion over another and the other religion is viewed with
an eye of suspicion. This leads to quarrel and various other unwanted happenings that disturb
the concept of humanity. The concept of Inferno is a revelation and gives a projection of the
torments that one faced because of the sins done.
From Inferno, it came to the forefront that God treats each one under the same umbrella. The
moral arguments that can be fetched from Inferno is that God never requires justification. The
deeds on earth will fetch the results. The concept of religion is provided more emphasis in
Inferno. If there is a breach of duty or wrongdoing in the name of religion then the wrong
doer is bound to suffer in the hell. This is an apt disclosure by Dante and hence, sheds light
on the individuals who are bent on doing evil deeds. All religion acts must come under one
umbrella that will lead to a strong society. The wrong doers are punished in dangerous forms
like charred to death, bitten by insects, etc.

If we consider a century or two from onwards, we can perceive a drastic change in the minds
of the people. Our descendants will have a different opinion altogether. The problem of
racism or the problem of religion will be perceived in a different manner. After a century or
two people will have a different notion altogether. The concept of sin and deeds will be
present, however the descendants can trace back and consider the acts that were done int he
current scenario. The difference in the notion and the mindset will be absent and hence, it will
be a society free from the clutches of ill feelings. The current atrocities on the women will be
a topic of debate for our descendants because going by the trend it can be said that there will
be a complete change in the thinking and happenings. In short, the sins will be lesser in
nature and people will have high morals.
Dantes Inferno will even be a topic for discussion because the current society can be gauged
by the Inferno. The crimes and the punishments of the traitors will be a revelation for the
descendants and hence, they will understand the concept of Inferno in a better fashion. The
idea of Dante must be taken to heart because a man is judged by the deeds he has done. The
wrong acts and the evils that are done today will be altogether a different concept after a
century, as a different situation will prevail at that point of time. The punishment of sinners
will instil fear in the mind of the people.
