asa
More than 30 years experience in heat transfer equipment made us
a global leader in advanced technologies. This ensures you competitive
pricing, consistent product performance and reliability.
Our production locations are divided between the headquarters
of asa Hydraulik GmbH in Vienna (Austria) and asa of America
in New Jersey (USA).
The modular design and patented solutions of our asa oil coolers offer
many advantages for customizing the oil cooler to your application.
Let us put our knowledge in mobile and industrial applications
to work for you.

Our product range gives maximum quality, flexibility and
standardization. We can easily change fittings, mounting parts
and fan drives to fit your application.
Mounting
If desired, our coolers can be delivered with mounting arrangements and protection
housings, which serve for flexible and economic mounting in many assembly situations.
The mechanical stress in mobile applications can be reduced by rubber shock absorbers between the protection housing and the cooler.
Bypass
This symbol indicates the possibility of an integrated bypass on the cooler.
Integrating a bypass system in an asa radiator, is to avoid overstressing the cooler
at cold start conditions (when the oil is extremely viscous). This mode of construction
also reduces high oil flows through the radiator that can for example occur
when hydraulic cylinders are used.
Electric
The temperature control consists of a temperature sensor and a control unit which
controls the fan speed according to the actual oil temperature. This lowers the noise
level of the cooler and increases the durability of the fan motor, due to the fact that
it is not running on maximum speed all the time.
Various thermostats for all coolers types are available.
Connectors
This is our patented asa Universal Connector system (AUC) that offers many possibilities
regarding dimensions and directions of the connection tubes. The flow optimized design
reduces the total pressure drop. The omission of screwed joints reduces the number
of sealing surfaces.

Cooler
The simplest way for exact cooler selection is
to choose your type of drive, click on an application
button or our calculation program will lead you to
the cooler information directly. For all other fluids
click the radiator button.
Performance
After selecting a size of the cooler, you can
choose from different types of engines:
12V, 24V, high performance versions,
single phase motors, 3 phase motors, etc,
to get the coolers data sheet.
Options
At the data sheet of a specific cooler, the options are
shown at the bottom right. Check out the options and
accessories available, by clicking the symbols.
