Scope of Work:
With the overall objective of understanding the "engineering design process" and "how to identify and solve
problems", the student will pursue the following specific work:
I will be working front office on Fridays starting 2/26/2010. As a student of engineering, it is
my interest to not only fullfill the specified duties, but to also seek improvement in this
manner of work to the extent that will be in all aspects beneficial to the business. Utilizing
the engineering design process (needs assessment, problem formulation, abstarction and
synthesis, analysis, and implementation) willform the basis of this objective.
Performance Appraisal:
After commencement of work, student's performance will be appraised twice (dates to be identified by the
student in consultation with the supervisor) and the final report, verified by the supervisor, will be
submitted by the due date. A presentation on the work completed and experience gained will be delivered
in class on due date.
