SCENE 1
INT./DAY
Flashback
A 5 feet something boy is standing and looking at the room
and a voice is coming off camera to him, to which he is
responding by nodding and giving answers to him. The room is
very clean and tidy. With nothing much in it except a bunk
bed and lord shivas poster some hand drawn sketches on wall
and a A4 size printout pasted on the wall detailing rules of
the house and a shoe rack made of cane.
(Sound coming from off screen)
VIJAY
Toh tum kaam kya karte ho?
VISHU
Ji abhi kuch nahi, bus dhundh raha
hun
VIJAY
Thik hai...rent hoga 2,500 rupaye
aur security 10,000..jab chodna
hoga toh ek mahine ke notice par
security wapas mil jayegi...aur
haan..yahan koi sharab nahi koi
cigrette nahi..subah chai milegi
aur khaane ke liye apna tiffin
lagwana hoga tumhe...yahan khana
banana allowed nahi hai.
(Vishu in hesitating manner)
VISHU
Ok... Sir..woh security thodaa kam
nahi ho sakta kya?
(vijay dosent reply to his question and keeps himself busy
doing daily chorus while vishu keeps waiting for the answer)
VISHU (CONTD)
Thik hai sir..mein raat ko 8 baje
aajata hun.
(Vishu hands over 12.5k To Vijay and leaves)

Scene 2
Int/Night
Its about 9:45 pm vijay is sitting at the top of his bunk bed
and some 8 inmates are unfolding there beddings on the floor
and chit chatting with each other about the day and some
random discussions. And we see vishu entring in the room with
a bag. He is shocked to see overcrowded room with people
lying everywhere on the floor. All greet him and invite him.
KUMAR
Hi..mera naam kumar bhaskar pant
sharma..
MUZZAFAR
Amaa miyan isme tumhara naam kaun
sa hai woh bhi bata do
And they both laugh
VISHU
Ji mera naam vishu hai..vijay sirrr
And vijay enters from another room
VIJAY
Haan bhai aaja...aree sharma kyun
raha hai..andar toh aa...aree jagah
dona usko chalne ke liye...kitni
baar tumko kaha hai aane-jaane ki
jagah toh chodd diya karo..
(people give him way to vijay)
VIJAY (CONTD)
Tu aaj se yahan sooyega..yeh sabse
achi jagah hai..yahan machchar
bahut hain..
(handsover mosquito repilent cream to vishu)
VIJAY (CONTD)
yeh laga le..warna raat
ko sone nahi
denge...thodi der main
light band ho
jaayegi..chalo good night

lights are off and still we can hear some chi-chat happening
in the dark...and we see vishu sleeping and thinking about
his todays decision

SCENE 3
Int/Day
Current day.
Vijay is sitting and scene 2,s chit-chat slowly dissolves and
he starts talking to the camera. his beard is fully grown and
he is more peacefull person as compared to his intro scene.
VIJAY
Maine zindagi main itna seedha
aadmi nahi dekha...pareshaani bhi
hai toh bhi chup rahega...kabhi
kisi ko pareshaan hi nahi karna
(he stands up from his bunk bed and moves towards the kitchen
to make tea. He brings out his big patila for tea)
VIJAY (CONTD)
Jo pehle uth gaya uski aish samjho
toilet jaane ke liye..warna itni
lambi line ki koi soch bhi nahi
sakta.

SCENE 4
Flashback
Int/ Early Morning
Its 7:30 in the morning. vijay is making tea for everyone in
a big patila. Inmates are folding their beddings and keeping
it under the bunk bed. some are sipping their glass of tea.
Vishu is still sleeping. Then suddenly Vijay shouts
VIJAY
Aree utho...khatam ho gaya time
sone ka..kailaish utha bhai
usko...aur apni chai le jaa.
Kailaish moves towards vishu and wakes him up

KAILAISH
Vishu uth jaao..8 baj gaye
VISHU
Ji..haan...raat ko machchar bahut
they, isliye late soya...sorry
In the meanwhile a constant sound of chit-chat is going
around in the background. And we see all of them are standing
in a que in front of the toilet gate waiting for their turn.
Jeetu is standing in the front most before shinde
SHINDE
Aree bhai ab kya world cup lekar hi
nikloge kya?...aajaao Hame bhi
match khelne ka mauka do
RAHUL
Aayiye bhai...aapka time khatam ho
gaya..8 minute se upar ho gaye
hain..
Durvesh enters from toilet with a happy face
KAILASH
Bhaai aap kal se subah 6 baje uth
jaaya karo..pramod ki tarah
Durvesh dosent responds to any comments and exits frame but
he is happy. and suddenly we see kunal shouting
KUNAL
Aree lal wala jockey kahan gaya
mera
KUMAR
Aree wahin hoga...taar par
Kunal is looking at some undies and we see lots of undies and
innerwear on the rope hanging in the balcony. he takes one
and comes back. Then suddenly kumar shouts
SHINDE
Aree woh mera hai..
KUNAL
Tujhe kaise pata itne main tera
kaun sa hai...mera bhi toh ho sakta
hai.
KUMAR
Bhai yeh nisshaan dekh naa...mujhe
apna nishaan yaad hai

Rahul comes in conversation from other side

RAHUL
Haan..yeh underwear par nishaan
chodta hai raat ko...isse duur hi
soya karo..koi bharosa nahi kab
palat kar padosi par waar kar de.
Some other voice from window
JEETU
Yaar mera under wear abhi tak geela
kyun hai?...isse Kal sukhaaya
tha..kisne geela kiya yeh?
MUZZAFAR
Amma miyaan hame lagta hai bramha
pehan ke chala gaya hoga..tumhaare
size ka aadmi wahi hai yahan
par...uska bhi black jockey hai.
Vishu is seeing all this from his bunk bed and
wondering.Rahul Comes to him and sits next to him
RAHUL
Kya soch rahe ho?
VISHU
Bus aise hi kuch nahi...agar itna
paisa nahi diya hota toh shayad kal
raat ko hi wapas chala jaata
main..bus ek mahina kisi tarah kaat
lun.
RAHUL
Tension mat lo...yeh sab bahut
acche log hain..yeh roz ka hai
magar dil se ek dusre ko bahut
chahte hain..isiliye itne waqt se
ek saath reh rahe hain...inhone
apni naukriyaan badal li magar room
mate nahi badle...kuch din ruk
jaao, tum hi inke bina nahi reh

milte hain jo jiyenge saath aur

Vijay is crushing ginger wwith a metal glass on the kitchen
slab
VIJAY
Cheeni khatam ho gayi hai ghar
main..
He stops talking for a while and suddenly starts speaking
VIJAY (CONTD)
Aaj hum ekta aut unity ki baat
karte hain magar aaj ke time main
woh sab khatam ho gaya hai...basic
level par hi nahi hai...chaahe
india pakistan le lo...saath rehna
hai hamesha phir bhi
dekhlo...goliyan chalti rehti hain
udhar se....magar Yahan majaal koi
kisi ko kuch keh de..sab bhai ki
tarah hi toh hain...
Flashback
Scene 6
Int/Night
Everyone is sitting and listening to a story being narated by
kumar about one of the incidences with him...eveyone is very
curiously listening to him
KUMAR
...aur phir khat se awaz
aayi..maine pucha kaun..toh koi
awaz na de..meri buri tarah phat
rahi thi...kaun andar aa
gayaa..dheere se darwaza khol ke
baathroom se nikla toh dekha koi
nahi...halat aur kharab...phir
dobara se khat ki awaz(he shows it
by his action)...awaz aa rahi thi
main darwaaze se...mujhe saala
samajh naa aaye ki aakhir itni raat
ko kaun hai jo ghanti nahi baja
raha sirf halke se knock kar raha
hai...4 baj rahe they..himmat bhi
nahi ho rahi thi..par phir se khat
ki awaz...aur mari toh sach main
saali hawa leak ho gayi..laga aaj
toh gadbad hai...
Muzzafar intrupting kumar in between very seriously

MUZZAFAR
Yaar tumhaare leak se yaad
aaya...yeh aakhir wiki leak aur
wikipedia main kya antar hai?
Kunal, who wass listening with very focus gets irritated
KUNAL
Aree teri maa kaa sakinaka...saala
pura mood ko gaddha main daal diya
yeh muzzafarwa.
In between jeetu intrupts
JEETU
Aree yaar yeh batao kisi ke pass
kuch khaane ko hai kya?..buiscuit
Jaisa kuch?
KAILASH
Haan...
Opens his bag and offers a packet of biscuit to him
JEETU
Kab ka hai bhai yeh packet...mera
matlab hai kab khareeda
Aaj hi ka

KAILASH
hai

Muzzaffar intrupts again while being busy on his mobile phone

MUZZAFAR
3 saal pehle aaj hi ke din khareeda
tha.
Rest all break in laughter.
Vishu is looking at everything closely from his bunk bed and
enjoying what ever is happening around.

SCENE 7
CURRENT DAY

INT./DAY
We dissolve from scene 6 to vijay...he is testing the taste
of tea by putting the drop on his palm.
VIJAY
thodi phiki bani hai....chini
Khatam ho gayi thi
He now pours the tea in all metal glasses
CAMERA
Toh jab sab kuch itna acha tha toh
achanak badal kyun gaya..
VIJAY
He gets irritated of this question..as if someone ask this
question again and again to him..which annoys him badly
Meri wajah se..meri galati
thi..agar robin sir nahi aaate toh
main kabhi jaata hi nahi...
He keeps on with his activity on pouring tea in metal glasses

SCENE 8
FLASHBACK
Int/night
Everyone is unfolding their bedding and vishu is on his bunk
bed. daily routine chit-chat can be heard in background.
Vijay enters with an old man, who suppose to be his guru
robin sir. And introduces to everyone. he moves to his bunk
bed where vishu is sitting and preparing his bed.
VIJAY
Vishu..idhar aa..sun...
Takes him to the other side
VIJAY (CONTD)
Tu aaj bed par mat so...mere guru
hai woh..bus ek raat ki baat
hai..mein tere liye yahan slab par
bistar laga deta hun, tu yahan
soja...

Vishu is hesitant but nods in yes

Vijay prepares bed for him on the kitchen slab. Everuone is
slept. There is absolutly no sound. Vishu is getting
irritated by mosquitoes.he gets up and finds a place near one
of them to sleep and before closing the frame we see all
inmates sleeping on the floor in pitch dark.
CUT TO:
SCENE 9
INT./DAY
We hear some discussion going around in black screen with
glass of tea in everyones hand..as the frame opens..
VIJAY
Main aaj raat ko wapas nahi
aaunga...koi shor sharaba mat karna
ree...subah 8 baje tak aa
jaaunga..koi urgent baat ho tabhi
phone lagana.
Vijay is preparing to leave with robin sir
VIJAY (CONTD)
Aree kunal tera mahina kal khatam
ho gaya hai..tere rent ka kya scene
hai..
KUNAL
Aaj mil jaayega..vijay bhai
Vijay nods in ok and leaves
Then suddenly kunal singsaaj sunday hai toh..daaru peene ka
day hai
And they all starting to plan.
KUMAR
Suno zyada nahi laayenge...sirf ek
do beer peete hain sab.
MUZZAFAR
Aree kyun nahi zyada
laayenge...jiska jitna man karega
utna piyeenge...

PRAMOD
Aree bevdoo..pekay khaaoge
kya...babaji ka thullu?
RAHUL
Aree dosto suno..ek kaam karte hain
hum litti banate hain...sala maza
aajaaega...aye kunal tu mere saath
chal dukaan se samaan lekar aate
hain.
KUNAL
Aree yahan kaise intzaam karega
RAHUL
Aree aalsi tu chinta kyun kar raha
hai be...sab ho jaayega
KUNAL
Aree teri maa kaa...chal re chal
And they both exit the frame
CUT TO:
SCENE 10
Int/Night
Frame opens and we see iron pan, cooked litti, bottles of
whisky, water, soda some plastic glasses and packet of
namkeen.
Kunal and rahul are busy cooking litti and sipping there
drink.
People are enjoying their time...vishu is also having his
glass...kailash starts to singaaja aaja dil nichode..raat ki
matki phoode.. and from there kunal cracks a bhojpuri adult
song..and he is accompanied by rahul first and then everyone
sings.
Vishu is enjoying and laughing..jeetu comes to vishu.
JEETU
Maza aa raha hai?
VISHU
Haan...bilkul
JEETU
Lekin tu toh..agle hafte chala
jaayega naa?

VISHU
Aree aise kaise chala jaaunga
aaplogon ko chodd kar...ab toh
hamesha aap logon ke saath hi
rahunga...chaahe kuch bhi ho jaaye.
By the everyone is totally down to drinking..they start
singing..a song from haidaraao naa
Some are slept at their very position..some are unable to
walk.
Iron pan, Bottles, glasses and empty packets are lying their
in the room.
JEETU
Ab yeh sab kahan phenkna hai?
MUZZAFAR
Yahin chodd do...subah phaink
denge.
KAILASH
Ek kaam karo naa...gate ke bahar
rakh do sab kuch...subah phaink
denge.
Kunal is talking in semi concioous state
KUNAL
Aree agar makan maalik ne dekh liya
toh room se phaink dega..
PRAMOD
Ek kaam karo...abhi seedhi par rakh
do...subah subah jab main uthunga
toh kachre main daal dunga.
Pramod and kumar cleans the area, and keeps everything
outside.
They try to pick iron pan but its hot.
RAHUL
Ayye isse bahar mat rakho...abhi
garam hai...kisi ka pair lag
jaayega toh jal jaayega...lena ka
dena pad jaayega...yah toh bahar
building ke peeche phaink aao nahi
toh yahin rehne do...subah bottle
ke saath samandar main daah kar
aayenge.
Kailash slips it under the kitchen shelf.

KUNAL
Khidki khol do garmi ho jaayega
raat ko...
MUZZAFAR
Maharaj pagla gaye ho kya...itna
machhaar kaatega ki bistar samet
utha ke le jaayega.
KUMAR
Tum ek kaam karo..boss ki jagah so
jaao..machchardani lagi hui
hai...hum khidki khol lete hain
Muzzaffar goes into the bunk bed and sleeps their and kumar
opens the window
JEETU
Bhai ek baat bolun..isko band hi
kar do yaar...muzzafar toh bach
gaya magar ham kya karein...jaan
nikal jaayegi yaar...abhi se ghunn
ghunn karne lag gaye
Kunal from his place..in irritating voice
KUNAL
Aree band rehne do yaar..hum kaun
sa saale mar jaayenge ek raat hawa
nahi lagega toh.
Everything is closed. They all are in the bed sleeping.
CUT TO:
SCENE 11
EXT/DAY
Its 8 in the morning.Vijay is at the door. He looks at the
bottles and all the stuff. Gets angry. Knocks at the door. No
one opens. Knocks it hard in anger. Gets key from his pocket
and opens the central locking. Opens the door, gets in. And
his anger turns into shock.
We see pile of dead bodies lying here and there in the room.
POV of vijay entering the room and trying to analyze what has
happened.

We see bodies lying near maain gate and some near window
FADE TO BLACK:
SCENE 12
Int/Eve
Camera opens with fume coming out of iron pan. People getting
suffocated. Breathing problem. Vishu tries to get up from his
bed and moves towards window and collapse. pramod gets up,
his head spins and collapsed..jeetu falls on the
bodies..kumar is alreaady collapsed at window. Kunal and rest
are not moving.
CUT TO:
SCENE 13
INT/DAY
Frame opens with vijay having 9 glasses of tea in a steal
plate.
CAMERA
Toh ab kitne log rehte hain yahan.
VIJAY
Chup chap apna kaam karo aur chai
piyo.
Vijay enters the frame..serves tea and exits the frame
We see those 9 are sitting on floor with same clothes in
cramped position with clinched hand and staring at their
particular glass.
Last shot we cut to wide. We see vijay standing with his
glass of tea and sipping from it and staring at walls angle
were 9 glasses of tea is kept and no one is there.
