Filipino family driver first to vote in Jeddah OAV

Mr. David Dailig, a family driver based in


Jeddah, cast his vote at exactly 8AM on 10
April 2010 at SBEI Precinct No. 3. He was the
first to vote out of the registered 37,083

The Consulate established 10 Special Board of


Election Inspectors. The 10th SBEI is dedicated
to those who registered at field registration
outside of Jeddah and at the Philippine
curriculum schools.

“The voting process is quite simple”, said


Consul General Ezzedin Tago. “First check
your name on the certified list of OAV
(CLOAV), and take note of your number and
precinct. Then proceed to the precinct to
vote. There, the SBEI will guide you”, he
added.

for OAV.

OAV in Jeddah will continue until 10 May 2010. The schedule for voting at the
Consulate is 10AM to 6PM, everyday including Thursdays and Fridays, the weekly
holiday in Saudi Arabia.

Consul General encouraged all registered


absentee voters to vote early, and to
encourage their families and friends and
other Filipino community members to
campaign for a high turn-out of voters.
