important part, though evangelism is not the
primary purpose of our small groups.

thankfulness. Let the Word of Christ—the Message
—have the run of the house. Give it plenty of room
in your lives. Instruct and direct one another using
good common sense. And sing, sing your hearts out
to God! Let every detail in your lives—words,
actions, whatever—be done in the name of the
Master, Jesus, thanking God the Father every step
of the way.

Life Transformation Group Guidelines
Basic Ideas and Guidelines
Our small groups will be:
• Single gender
• 2-3 people (may be exceptions multiplication
as growth occurs is encouraged)
• Meet for 1 hour a week (is the goal).
• Meet not in prime-time (not between 5-9 pm
and not on weekend afternoons if possible)
• In the word at least 5 days a week. The same
scripture is to be read by all.
• Reading the word will be exclusively “The
Word” We encourage the following baseline
reading plan:
1. Entire new testament in 1 year.
2. Psalms once in a year
3. Proverbs 6 times / year.
This is equivalent to about 2 chapters / day.
Reading of more scripture or different plans
may be adopted, provided they are the bible
only and satisfies "the word of Christ dwell in
you richly".
Sample LTG Agenda
