Cellular Telephony including 2G, 3G and 4G

After attending the seminar of Engr Christian P. Enoval Entitled Cellular Telephony including 2G,
3G and 4G. I have learned a lot of things, not only in technical aspect but also Engr.Enoval encourage us to
advance our studies about new technologies because it may help us to know new things, and by this we
can cope up new technologies and ideas about the future machines and technologies. In lying down the
foundation and to better understand the topic, Engr. Enoval discussed a background history of cellular
telephony and how the technology is delayed because of the demands.

Aside from being part of the academic requirement on our course on Navigational Aids through our
adviser Engr.Lomboy, my attendance and participation to the said seminar was equally important on my
part as I was engaged in a real life application of Communication courses and theories behind it .The
seminar enlighten me to do future research about future technologies and understanding about the theory
in this seminar. The seminar is very helpful especially in my course Electronics and Communication
Engineering and Im also taking a Communication track , this helps me to broad my knowledge and
understanding about The principles Behind This Technology and by this I can do advanced research about
the said seminar .Engr. Enoval also discuss laws and ethics in being an engineering, Im happy that the
speaker also talks not only some technical part of the topics but also he discuss us how engineers should
think and should do in terms of problems, he inspired me to do more and to think twice in doing decision
making especially in personal aspect of life.

Engr. Enoval a prominent engineer and a good public speaker in our country have successfully
convinced , inspired and motivated the participants .he make and especially design the powerpoint very
well and he discussed to us with always a smile in his face and also hes got a very good sense of humor
,he also answered the questions of the audience very well and without hesitation , he also lectures us for
our future understanding about the topics and recommend us to do some methods and designs for the
future.im very thankful to attend this one of a kind seminar that helps me not only in technical side about
also encourage me to do more as a future engineer in this country.

After attending the seminar of Julius T. Aribon Entitled Internet of Everything. I have
learned a lot of things, not only in technical aspect but also Mr.Aribon encourage us to advance our studies
about new technologies because it may help us to know new things, and by this we can cope up new
technologies and ideas about the future machines and technologies. In laying down the foundation and to
better understand the topic, Mr.Aribon discussed a background history of cellular telephony and how the
technology is delayed because of the demands.. Phones and the internet connect us to people thousands
of miles away and have connected people together and widened our view on things and made information
more accessible to people. Technology makes life easier and has saved lives through technological
medical advances. You may think we are becoming too dependent on it and i agree but that may be a good
thing because that's the way our world seems to be advancing now and that is in technology.
Im very happy to attend this said seminar because the speaker is good because he always talk
smoothly and also he do not just talk about technical side but also about his personal life and his struggles
and life experiences especially what he have learned from his past mistakes and by this he taught us how

Goal Setting : A Guide To Self-Empowerment

This is probably the most exciting seminar that I have ever attended, Mr Sejuk Udara is the
speaker entitled Goal Setting: A guide to Self-Empowerment, my first impression when the speaker comes
to the room is that this seminar tackles about self-empowerment and how to increase your self-esteem as a
student but Im very wrong as the speaker started his lesson and lectures because not only he lectures us
about the topic but also he made us realize that in order to set a goal the first thing you must do is to know
yourself first , knowing yourself first before setting a goal is very important because by knowing your
weaknesses and strengths , you can assess yourself and you can improve yourself as an individual.
Why exciting and very unusual seminar? is because Mr.Sejuk Udara Lectures and Questions us
about our personal experiences and life lesson leanings in our life , not only he speaks and lecture about
the topic but also he manages to show that our ideas and reaction is important so he always ask questions
to the audience. He make the audience also the speaker and that is why I like his being a good seminar
speaker. I like her personality as a great lecturer and also he has a good sense of humor. He has a very
good method in approaching to the audience he makes sure that the audience also participates in this
seminar. If you listen to the speaker, this is the man with the massage for us, for us to have self-confidence,
to not take things seriously and always to be happy for every decision we make. One thing that he said that
comes always to my mind is that , the future and past is not very important in our life what important in our
life is the present , do not hesitate to do decisions because you are afraid for the consequences in the
future, or you are afraid that something in the past will come.
His inspiring words of wisdom will have you captivated and brings you back to the true values of
life. Through provoking, emotional, encouraging, and engaging Mr.Sejuk speaks about the need to awaken,

renew and nurture true love, which seems to be missing in the hearts of humanity today. He places high
values on the family and relationships and shows you can make a difference by showing love to others and
decide without any hesitations in life. The first thing you need to do in Setting a goal is to know yourself
first, that is the most quotable quote I have learned from him.
I hope that he continue to lecture more to other people because his wise words will truly motivates
others , I hope somebody will experience this humble and inspirational spiritual lecturer , leaving a lasting
impression with you.

After attending the seminar of Engr James Rodney Santiago Entitled Super High Definition
Television. I have learned a lot of things, not only in technical aspect but also Engr.Santiago encourage us
to advanced our studies about new technologies because it may help us to know new things, and by this

foundation and to better understand the topic, Engr. Santiago discussed a background history Super high
definition television and also a brief background history to it.

Financial Planning for Young professionals.

It is vitally important for the individual to set up a personal financial plan in order not to
experience hardships and financial difficulties in the future. Financial plan assure financial stability and
financial freedom that one wants to possess till the end of his life. I think this seminar is very important for
me because I have a very hard time planning and budgeting my allowance especially as a young student
and a future engineer. The speaker talks about financial planning for us young professionals on how to deal
with financial planning and future life.
Ms. Shelah explains to us how to save money and establish life goal setting , he also lectures us to
work out what assets and liabilities we have , and also to implement plan and evaluate current financial
positions in life. She said that Start by working out your goals in life, in the short, medium and long
term. Prioritized them, and think about the likely cost of those goals and when you will need the money,
so you can start to plan your finances to work out how to achieve them. Dont forget you also have to plan
for some of the hurdles you may have to overcome too. Its about getting organized; being in control of
your finances rather than letting your finances control you.
This is very important for me because I lived without my parents budgeting my allowance, I always
shorts my money because I cant control myself spending other things instead of some necessities and
important in daily life. She lecture also that by planning your finances to meet your goal you will Have a
much greater confidence of where you are going in life and Reduce your stress levels and start to enjoy
life more. The most important lesson that Ive learned in this seminar is that Gain control and peace of
mind through knowing whether youre on track for the future you want for you and your family.

Career Talk Day 1
Building Bridges and Surmounting Challenges toward a Globalized Profession
The career talk which was held this 22 th day of February , 2016 at the arlegui campus seminar
room of Technological institute of the Philippines Manila ,The career talk entitled building bridges and
surmounting challenges toward a globalized profession. There are many resource speakers in day 1 like
Engr.Tomas Enriques Jr , Engr.Amerigo Santos ,Dean Jose Rizaldy De Armas and many more.This is a 2
day career talk event that tackles about how to do extraordinary things and how to achieve our goals and
achievements in life through struggles and challenges that we are facing now and in the future.
I learned many things about personality development and some techniques in how should our
present attitude should fix in order to become a successful individuals, and also the speakers share their
past experiences and how they become successful in life and how they face many problems with positive
mindset and right attitude. And especially some lecture also discuss why some engineers and people are
successful and some are not ,why project fails ,what must be the characteristics of engineers and students
for them to be effective , and how to create a power resume and how to sell yourself in the company you
want. What I like about this career talk is that the speakers inspired us and others because of their success
stories in life, not only they deliberate us about some life learning experiences but also they teaches us how
should attitude in life is very important to develop you as an individual
At the end of the session , there are question and answer portion between the speaker and the
audience ,all of the question is answered very well and at the end i observed that the audience is not bored
in this said event because they learned and inspired for what the speaker lecture us about life. This career
talk taught us so many things that we can use in our every day lives.

Building Bridges and Surmounting Challenges toward a Globalized Profession

Day 2 of the Career talk which was held this 23 th day of February 2016 at the arlegui seminar room
of technological institute of the Philippines manila, This is the 2 nd day of the event, but for now the
speakers our different and as expected some speakers comes from the biggest and elite companies in our
country such as GMA-7 and Telco companies.
This seminar have 2 sessions The morning and the afternoon, I didnt attend the afternoon session
because of some personal issues so i just write a simple reaction paper about the this career talk morning
session. What I like about the day 2 of this event is that each time the speakers lectures about something,
we inspired and learned a lot , I learned things about life because we did not focus in there alone , we
discussed about applying it in our lives. The visuals are good because we are able to cope up with what the
speakers is discussing though its kind of hard for me to read because the letter is so small and im in the
back seat of the seminar room, and also I have an eye problem.
I amazed when the speaker from GMA 7 talks about some technical and inspirational lectures from
his job , he teaches us what he do in his job as an engineer in this big network , also he talk about his
personal life and a small background of his life. Time flew very fast especially when you are enjoying what
you are doing ,this 2 days career talk taught us many things , not only being technical and academic
lessons in our engineering courses but also about they taught us how to improve ourselves and our attitude
in how to face problems and future endeavors in life.

There is an afternoon session after this seminar but I didnt attend it because of some personal
manner.

ECE roadshow 2016
This is the last day of the ECE roadshow 2016 which was held this 24 th day of February 2016 at the
Arlegui campus of technological institute of the Philippines manila, This is for some students who will get
On the Job subjects / internship this coming summer and also this is for some professionals who want to
get a job directly, the ECE roadshow invites some big and elite companies globally to participate in this said
event, what I like in this event is that other students from different schools may participate and walk in this
event , This is very important for us especially we are incoming 5 th year students and the ones who will take
OJT in this summer.
Even though we attended a 5 day seminar and conducted a mock job interview event in the day 6
of this ECE roadshow and really made our body and mind tired due to lack of sleep rest and relaxation, but
we learned many things and experience in how to manage a big event in our school, Im blessed that I took
a part on this ECE roadshow event. By this event, we make some resumes of ours and give it to some
company booths, some of the companies that invited our elite and big companies such as smart, meralco,
Gold sun comservices and many more.
From the bottom of my heart , I want to thank the ECE department and the ones who organized
this said event . Im very blessed that for witnessing this years ECE roadshow .i would also like to thank
the adviser for this event Engr.Philander Lomboy for making this event very successful and also for my co
students who helps each other just to make these things possible, This Event and job fair is very successful
not only this event but also the ECE roadshow 2016.
