Consumer Comments*:

Applies smoothly
Easy to apply between decking boards
Use an in-stock roller

Thick and awkward to apply

Cleaning between boards is needed and difficult
Special roller provided / brushing required

First thing we did is throw away the roller that comes with
the kit. This uses way too much product and you will be
reloading every few feet.
The product itself comes out very thick. I do mean very
thick.... similar to cake frosting with sand in it.
I put 1 cup of water per gallon. This seemed to help it
spread out easier.

Consumer Comments*:

Goes farther: 100 sq. ft. / gallon

Consumer friendly texture and appearance.
Preferred in PPG consumer research.

Spread rate is only 50 sq. ft. / gallon

Frustration with coverage claims
Undesirable finish

Brushing will spread the sand out unevenly and the finish will
look un-even and very ugly.
The biggest Con is the coverage area. I don't know how the
manufacturer calculated the square foot coverage per gallon but there is no way in the world you will get that kind of
coverage
it is very hard to walk on barefoot. Its like walking on rocks!
