(IV) PROPOSED TERMS OF REFERENCE FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT

ASSESSMENT REPORT (EIA)

The format of the EIA/EMP Report will be made as per the EIA Notification
2006 as amended and shall cover the following:
1 PROCESS/PROJECT DETAILS:
1.1 Process for proposed project.
1.2 Source of water, consumption pattern and quantity and quality of
wastewater generation.
1.3 Different pollution sources and proposed mitigation measures.
BASE LINE DATA:
2. Water monitoring:2.1 Details of raw water source, treatment and use pattern for the unit.
2.2 To establish baseline conditions for ground and surface water by collecting
four samples from existing tube well or open well and surface water body from
vicinity of site.
2.3 Collected samples shall be analyzed as per surface water classification
criteria of CPCB and IS: 10500 for ground water and the analyzed for following
broad parameters not limited to:

secondary source and limited primary survey.
5. NOISE POLLUTION:5.1 Details regarding potential noise sources of the project. This shall include
vehicular traffic noise also.
5.2 To monitor noise levels at at-least 5 locations within the study area and to
establish an existing noise level pattern.
6. PREDICTIONS AND ASSESSMENT OF IMPACT:To predict and assess the impacts on environment after establishing existing
base line conditions of the environment. This shall include
6.1 Predict and assess the impacts on water environment due to raw water
consumption and effluent disposal if any.
6.2 Predict and assess the impact on air due to emissions from different source
by calculating predicated incremental increase through mathematical model.
6.3 Impact Assessment Statement for Different Environmental Attributes.
7. ENVIRONMENT MANAGEMENT PLAN:7.1 To prepare an Environment Management Plan after identifying potential
pollution factors and risk associated with the project.
7.2 To identify environmental and safety hazards and suggest the measures for
