A Shepherds View
Wow, it feels like Ash Wednesday was just a few days ago
and here were on the Fifth Sunday of Lent! I hope your Lent is
being as peace-filled as mind. I hope your prayer has been
enriched, your journey of forgiveness has been enhanced with
Mercy and your longing for Jesus Risen joy has increased!
Todays Gospel is so well known-The Forgiveness of the
Adulterer. How she must have felt to hear those words of Mercy
from Jesus, NOR DO I CONDEMN YOU, GO AND SIN NO
MORE! Do YOU feel those words in Gods speaking to you?
We should be careful not to use words or actions which
condemn others. Gossip, Office talk, Speaking about Family
members or others serve NO PURPOSE! People who live in
Glass houses should throw no stones!
Lets really open our hearts to Gods Mercy and bring it to
others through our kind words and actions. Try to use the mouth
filter and keep those bad thoughts insidethen throw them away
with the trash!!
Next week is Palm Sunday. May we truly begin HOLY
WEEK with hearts full of passion for the Lord!
