thanmyversion.

ClassCritique

Someofmythoughtsandconcernsoftheclasshopefullywillhelptheinstructorand
evengivemeabetterunderstandingofhowtobettermyselfinfurtherclasses.Ifoundtheclassmost
enjoyablebecausetherewassomestudentinteractionwhichallowedmetogettoknowsomepeople.
Wediscussedsomeenlighteningsubjectsthatbroughtmyattentiontosomeseriousmattersthatconcern
myselfandotherpeople.Ifeltthatsomeofthepassagesthatwerediscussedwereinformativeandgaveme
abetterunderstandingofsomeoftheissuesthatshouldbemorerecognizedanddiscussedabouttheworld.
SeveralofthepassageshelpedgivemesomeideasandtaughtmesomethingsthatIdidnotknow.The
lessonsofthedictionarymeaningsandthepronunciationshelpedgivemeabetterunderstandingofsome
wordmeaningsandincreasedmyknowledgeofvocabulary.Ifoundthatmytestscoreswerenotwhatthey
shouldhavebeenandthatIcouldhavedonebetteronthetestthanwhatIdid.

Next,Iwouldliketogiveabriefdescriptionoftheinstructorandhowsheinfluencedmeas
astudent.Theinstructoralwayskepteveryoneinformedwiththeappropriateinformationandmadethings
asclearaspossible.Iftherewasanymisconceptionsaboutsomethingtheinstructoralwaysclarifiedthe
questionthatwasaskedwithexceptionalanswersandexamples.Theinstructorappearanceandpersonality
weremostpresentable.Ifoundthattheinstructorworkswellwithallthestudentsthatareintheclass.The
instructorprovedthatshehasplentyofexperienceandknowledgeofwhattheinstructoristeaching.Itwas
apparentthattheinstructoriswelleducatedandcouldteachthecurriculumwithoutanyproblems.

ThirdIfoundtheteachingssomewhatoldfashionedcomparedtosomeofmyotherclasses.
Attimesitseemedlikesomeofthematerialisoutdatedandcouldusesomerevamping.Thatwasmyown
opinionbaseduponsomecomparisonofthisclassandsomeoftheotherclassesthatIhavetaken.Ialsofelt
thattheamountofworkthatwastobeaccomplishedmadetheclassfeeloverwhelmedandconcernedabout

howmuchworkthatwasbeingassigned.Iwouldliketodiscussthejournalsthatweweresupposedtokeep
arecordofconcerningtheclass.IdidnotfindthejournalsworthwhilebutIdidunderstandthatyouwere
supposedtosomewhatcreateyourselfandgivetheinstructorabetterunderstandingofwhoyouareand
whatyoushouldtryandgetaccomplished.Thiswasalsoawayofkeepingtrackoftheassignmentsand
someoftheactivitiesthatwediscussedinclass.

OneofthethingsthatreallycausedsomeconcernasfarasIamconcernedwasthelabs.
ThelabsareofsomeconcernbecauseIfoundthatthelabsdidnotteachmeasmuchasIwouldhaveliked
tohavelearned.Thelablessonseemedrepetitiveasifsomeofthelessonskeptshowingsomeofthesame
information.Ialsoexperiencedsomedifficultieswhentryingtodothelabsfrommyhousetheserver
wouldneverloadthelablessons.ThismeantthatIcouldnotcompletethelablessonsfromthecomfortsof
myownhome.Ithinkthattherearesomesoftwarecompatibilityproblemssuchasthelablessonsusean
olderversionthanwhatIamcurrentlyusing.SomeotherthingsthatIfounddifficultwascompletingthe
labswithinthespecifiedamountoftimewhilecompletingtherestoftheassignments.Ididfindsomeof
thestoriesinformativeandfullofgoodinformationthattaughtmesomehelpfulmaterial.

Finally,Ifoundthecoursetobeanexcellentclassandreceivedalotofdescent
informationfromtheclass.Ialsofoundthereasonforthecritiquecouldbeforreasonofhowtheinstructor
couldbettertheclassforfutureteachings.IdothinkthatifIallofmylabswerefinishedthenIwouldhave
abetterunderstandingofthecourse.IfanyoneeveraskedmewhethertheclasswasworthtakingIwould
recommendthecourseforanyonethatinquiredabouttheclass.Theclasshasalsoincreasedsomeofmy
unusedskillsthatIhavehadnothadtouseinawhileandalsogavemesomethoughtsaboutfurther
pursuingsomeothergrammarandEnglishclasses.Theoverallconclusionoftheclass,mostrewardingand
helpful.Thanks.
