first wrote about different instrumentation that were generally used in a
group followed by an in depth analysis on each instrument.
The introduction was very intriguing as the author used an effective
hook at the beginning of the article. He suggested that the knowledge of
renaissance music is mainly dependant on how the piece of music is
performed. This is a very interesting point because generally the first
