I am a young video maker living in the UK. I grew up in The Cotswolds and
have been interested and intrigued by the fascinating world of lm making
since 2011.From the age of 13 Ive been creating lms in a small group of
friends several of which winning awards.

I am a very self-motivated person and extremely creatively driven. I am fully

aware of the technicalities of the industry but prefer to strike a more creative
flare whilst forever maintaining essential technical skills. I am always open to
new and better ways of doing things and I never let not knowing about
something stop me - I just teach myself. During the last few years, I have
been doing everything I can to learn as much as possible about lm-making
of off my own back and collaborating with friends and clients to further my
talents. At home I am always very busy making lms, both for clients and my
own lms which I produce in my spare time. I like all the practicalities of
production, because it's 'hands on'. I am also fascinated by the process and
techniques involved in creating visual effects. I have a good range of camera
equipment and professional editing software, so that I can be more versatile
and increase my creative abilities. Im well qualied in both editing and VFX. I
work at a relentless pace and do not allow myself to stop until I have
perfected the product to the very best of my abilities. Im always entreated to
collaborate and learn more in addition to my ambition to one day direct a
feature lm.

EXPERIENCE

I have been lmmaking for four years, educating myself with no one to hold
my hand. When I rst began: I started with windows movie maker and a 20
flip out camera. Since then: my work has been commissioned and aired on
popular television channels.
I have explored a wide range of skills, such as: photography & photo
manipulation, sound design, editing, cinematography, visual effects and much
more. However my professional experience lies within visual effects and
motion graphics.

I have never been taught lm, but rather I am a product of self-intuition.

However I began studying lm and Art at Cirencester College in September
2014.
In June 2015: I received my ofcial OCR 90 Credit Technical commendation
results: awarding me with D*D*, achieving nothing but Distinctions
throughout the year (resulting in a total UCAS credit of: 210 points). In
addition I was awarded a B for AS Level Fine art in August.

From July to September of 2014: I was offered a full time placement at
Dream Team Television, to adopt the role of motion graphics artist. I was
responsible for the production of every single motion graphic contained
within the programmes from said dates. I worked mostly with Adobe After
Effects, however I did, on occasion; encounter both Photoshop and Avid
Media Composer.
I took a 9 5 placement and worked alongside professional editors and
camera operators. My work for Dream Team has been viewed on popular
television channels such as Channel 4 and Sky Sports. Despite my desire to
continue with Dream Team: I had to return to education at the beginning of
September. I do however work freelance on occasion for the company.
Although I have only had one professional work placement: I feel my
knowledge and experience with lmmaking is very valuable. Hopefully my
work reflects and demonstrates my skill and commitment to the profession.
