Working during the 2016 Minnesota legislative session. Responsibilities include: reviewing all House and Senate bill introductions,
categorizing and tracking bills related to E-12 education and higher education, creating blog content for the weekly Session

Collaborated with Dr. Binnur Ozkececi-Taner in the Political Science Department working on original research examining the
history and implications of Islamic veiling bans in France, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Funded through Hamline Universitys

Assisted case managers supporting refugees in their first 90 days after arrival in U.S., working with staff to provide immigration
services to refugees and asylees. Responsibilities included: taking clients to appointments, updating client case notes, organizing case
files, completing immigration applications, updating and enrolling clients into the offices Excel tracking system.
