Entering service mode (F mode)
Note: Exiting service mode requires a different procedure.
To enter service mode press these 3 keys in this sequence: (you probably have to hold each
while pressing the next, so that all 3 are held down as you finish):
AUTO/PHOTO select+PAPER TRAY+1s KEY
F1 will display,
To exit service mode: press AUTO/PHOTO Select+CLEAR/STOP
The service manual does not specifyt if these keys need to be pressed at the same time,
In sequence or in sequence and held down. If you do not use this procedure the machine will
remain in the service mode. Shutting power or unplugging the copier will not clear it.
F1: will light up display. Press 1+START
F2: single sheet test. Press 2 and then START.
F3: Continuous aging. Press 3+START.
F4: Input/Output modes: After pressing 4 press START.
Service manual does not describe how to select particular items.
